man i wish i had a korg keyboard i have been wanting one for a long time and it seems like i cant never get one and i play lots of instruments godbless
can u put that background music into the motif and use only the motif to play bc playing on one keyboard will be very convenient to go around and perform..and thank you for the video
I have this board, and it's sampling functions are great, as is the general layout. The only thing that really lets it down are some of the stock on-board ROM samples, especially the drums. They just don't cut it. You're track is a prime example of that. It's a great song, beautiful and very well recorded and performed, but I hate the drum sounds.
hey thx for the triton and motif info, if you wouldnt mind showin the piano sounds of the triton when you get it back? thier not that bad are they????
The other piano sound in this song is the Triton Studio.
The acoustic piano sounds are not bad in the Triton studio, but they sound very/over processed when compared to the Motif but you really cant complain unless youre playing strictly piano pieces on it. I also have the Piano expansion board installed which adds another decent acoustic piano (you should be able to pick one up fairly cheap now).
sweet thanks one more q, does the motif have any britty sounds? any sawtoooth sounds, anthing thats lead ? same with trition does triton have more of those sawtooth , lead sounds?
Thanks for the comment! I use a Triton Studio and it's possible to use samples and audio tracks with the sequencer.
If your sample exceeds the amount of RAM you can transfer a .WAV to the internal hard drive (USB to SCSI adapter) and sync it to the sequencer with the File or use the "transfer WAV to track" feature. Once youre done adding additional tracks in the sequencer you can burn it to the intigrated CD Writer or transfer the file to your computer and burn it.
Finally someone who can actually program a full song using the es..I've yet to see someone actuall do this.I have the es7 and triton extreme 76.I've tracked with both and the es7 (sonically) sounds better but it's good to have both.I'll be uploading songs soon too..Great work..The best I've seen so far.
Thanks! It has the same sound engine as the ES so great sound quality. Ill try to list the biggies for you. The big one for me is the feel or action of the physical keyboard, the ES uses a FS keyboard which is the same one used in the Korg Trinity, Triton, Triton Studio and more. The MO uses a LC Keyboard meaning it has a lighter feel to it. No Sampler in the MO6. The MO6 also has a plastic chassis and the Pitch and Mod wheels are not rubberized. Enjoy the MO, You'll be pleased!
thank u yamakorg!! i understand but i have the trinity pro which is a great keyboard and im kinda hiphop beat maker so u think the mo6 will be a greater choice instead of my trinity pro??
Hi kind1277, for the style of beats you are making you will appreciate the apeggiators in the MO6 along with the dynamic drum sounds it provides. I loved my Trinity and it's sounds but I always wished it had an arpeggiator. You will find the Sequencer in the MO6 almost backwards from the Trinity (I do most of my sequencing on the Triton)Korg makes it really easy. I would say use them together and get the best of both worlds!
Brian you and Mary rock!
