I thought Donnie Munro went back to Runrig for a while? He's still a good singer, but he's not the same without Runrig and they're not the same without him.
yes i agree Runrig has not been the same~Likewise i would say Donnie is not the same either without runrig~in my opinion.
I don't know why they split? If i remember the offical reason was because donnie went into the scottish pariliment~ I rather suspect there was other possible reasons?
It is such a shame they could not reform the original line up because scotland truly ROCKED then!
he never went into the scottish parliament, he tried to and failed as he stood for the wrong party. He stood for the UNIONIST labour party, the rest of the band at the time were nationalists. Pete Whishart is now a SNP MP in Westminister.
I love his music but sadly I cannot forgive him for turning his back on Scotland.
