Here I am, 41 years old, african american male, thinking that this video wouldn't move me as I thought it would. I'm bawling like a baby. The best S&G tribute I have ever saw
Great to hear this again, with string arrangement backup which lends an other-worldly air. I just came over from hearing them doing an acoustic-guitar arrangement (unaccompanied by anything else), and I commented there that it was like hearing a demo of a Beatles' song.
This beautiful song was realeased in 1968 when Paul was only 27yo. To him, it would have sound "terribly strange to be 70". But he is going to be 70 in 2 years from now.

This is a song I knew when it was first released, my bgf and I used to swear to each other that someday we would find that park bench.
We still do.
