It's a nobrainer ERGO is a overpriced plastic entry-level unit but MC3000 is semi - proquality and metal.

Thanks for the heads up on MC3000, so just to clarify it can also act like a normal mixer if the laptop crashes just like its big brother?

@djet2011 It's not a full functioning mixer like the 6000. So, you cannot use the cross fader, input faders etc. to control a line input.  You can, however, control two line inputs (not phono) using the knobs for volume and input1/ input2 fade. This works great for a backup or simply to have other inputs at your disposal but, unfortunately not an ideal way to DJ with CD players. with Hope this helps.

@addidasoccercleats. This would be a great match for a beginner DJ. Of course there's less expensive controllers but if you want good quality at a good price this seems ideal. You won't have to upgrade!
