They may be harder to stage but a Narrow power curve?? haha ... you call 10,000rpm narrow? Import's run short gear ratio's to multipy torque to the wheels and to keep the engine near peak power for as long as possible.... What you were really meaning to say is that large turbo's are hard to spool.... maybe but not in that bad drag application where methanol is used. It's takes true skill to drive an import fast i agree... Not like V8's where you run an auto and just drive it down the strip

Lol the import cars make great power out of small engines. But the smaller displacement the more narrow power curve, wich makes them hard to stage and to drive.

Imports can go fast, if they make the stage and launch properly. I'm not sayin they are slow, just hard to drive because of the narrow power curve.

LoL. Yes they do make very good power , Some are in excess of 2500hp without the use of NOS or Nitromethane.

Any problems you are likely to see after staging is either a tuning problem or driver failing to bring the engine onto boost before the light goes! It definately takes more skill to handle an import properly on the track.

i will agree that the car is fast but the craftsmanship of the car is severly lacking ive seen it in person at 1320x and it ran a 15.7 its only pass out... now ray hollywood johnsons 10.5 stang has much less funding and the quality of the race car is stellar
