@Iamthelaw1526 Yes, Vista was shit and I hated it, but XP was maybe the best windows I have been using. When I switched to Linux (because of Vista), I allso installed an XP theme, because I needed something familiar to start with. Now I am afraid I have gotten used to it... It is hard to break habits... But hell, Compiz still works smoothly, and the machine is more than twice as fast as before with Vista, so... (actually it coudn't even run basic vista effects, they took too much RAM)

I run Compiz, but it doesn't get in my way when I want something done. That is very professional. Unlike Windows. MS doesn't give shit about usability. Well... is my experiense. That is why I left Windows and went to Linux...

How is this different from Compiz on Linux. Compiz is much more advanced, there are much more modes and it is smoother. Besides, Linux+compiz is WAY faster than any vista at all. Windows is for gamers. Why pay for it, if you do not game. Linux is free.

Do you have the aero theme on your premium? if you don't have that that means your computer doesn't have the requirements to run aero...I suggest downloading an alternative like topdesk...

Dude, If you download a "Serveren Transformation Vista Pack" then you just can use your "Windows XP"-logo (hold it down) and hold after that, your "Tab"-button down. Same way, if you download the Transformation Pack.

i got Mint 6 as base and windows xp ultra edition as virtual using seamless rdesktop and SeamlessRDp and VMware on Mint , so i can have all the lovely eye candy from linux and run my faviorate windoows programs like photoshop with no crossover issues , and because it is seamless it only shows you the taskbar from windows so you can have stability throughout ,
