Seamus Aldridge always hated the Dubs. Even after this incident he was always biased against Dublin and the GAA always appointed him to officiate at big Dublin games...........the bastards as they are !

I loved that Dublin of the '70s,they brought a new dimension to the game,sadly they were hammered that day by 17 ponits,but Mikey Sheehys goal was pure genius,Pele would be proud of it.Mikey being the gentlman he is even admitted Kerry were lucky have that goal stood. Best goal in Gaelic Football,also they were the best days for Gaelic football,great memories.

whatever you soccer try to prove; Sheehy is a legend and twice the footballer Ronaldo or Zidane will ever be.

Like Jimmy Magee said about the great Fitz (the same applies to Sheehy): "Give me ronaldo or zidane - how many of them could have done it"

Seamus Aldridge was always biased against the Dubs. Refereeing in Gaelic football was always crap, and still is. But Aldridge was the worst of all of them.

It was great opportunism by Mikey Sheehy.

It was no free, but we would have won anyway....other teams concede goals and come back...but its not whether it was a free or not that counts..it was the vision and the execution of Mikey..he was my favourite player for a long long time...until the Great Maurice Fitzgerald came along...
