Well firstly you haven't established that they are in fact world renowned experts, and secondly there are always the idiots and crackpots in all groups. last year in my school they had installed a wifi router in every classroom, hallway, and even the bathrooms! before they had wifi routers spaced throughout the school so you could get signal anywhere in the school, but now every room! you cant escape from it! its another government program to dumb us all down and kill us all!

Has any test been done between WIFI and ARTHRITIS?,im no expert ,while using my mobile device,a pain quickly develops in my shoulder ,i suggest wifi ,cell phone radiation,could perhaps be triggering this(,i have since inserted a rubber insert into my device case front and back early days yet though it does seem to aleviate this pain)or stop this pain developing,i wonder if others have similar occurances?

results are plausible. Wifi access point @20mw reference power at 1m, path loss exponent of 2 results in 3.33mw @ 3m (omnidirectional)

Phone mast at 20w reference at 1m Results in 2mw at 100m omnidirectional, path loss exponent of 2.

At the end of the day, this is a tiny amount of power compared to a phone operating at 1-2 watts next to your head. I don;t think there is any danger from masts or access points.

Prolonged use of your phone next to your head at max power could be a problem

Again i have to pull you up. As a telecomms engineer, you mention the development of cataracts. To form cataracts a significantly high RF power level is required as catacracts are created via a thermal heating effect, this level of RF power is no where near the level of wifi and mobile technologies (in the order of 30-50000 times less).

MASER (Low higher, high coherance) technology is very different than putting a waveguide on the end of a magnetron.

Nice test - only one problem....they test a tower from about 1000 meters without any phones, just the tower. Then they walk into the class and measure a dozen machines and access point. How about testing near a microwave! I think they'll notice the leakage is about 10X the power of that classroom, and if they'd had a cell phone they'd see the same 10X of the Wi-Fi system. the main difference is with a cell phone the transmitter and power source is about 1 inch or less from your brain... the farther you are from the tower, the more power your cell phone transmits. Very high power next to the brain. When you talk about RF in radio stations, usually the station is miles and miles away from you... thats VERY different. Your radio sits passively and listens, it does not even transmit a thing.
