how do i stop activex to stop blocking my rollover images? evertime i load the page the activex blocks the rollover??? is there any way to unblock it?
Thank you, pbj746 for this clip! I had trouble doing Fireworks while using Dreamweaver in class. Now when I watched your tutorial, I can finally understand and manage to do as much as I can!
Ive got a shorter easier to use video on how to make a rollover image on my page, you don't even have to have any adobe programs, or any html site editing software at all!

Excellent presentation, this totally helped me! I could not figure out what the official help files were talking about. :) Thank you so much for doing this!
thank was really clear way of explaining it, however i was i thought it would be an image rollover using css coding not the .js inbuilt dreamweaver function
with a menu item say, duplicate in PS it so that the two are side by side, with the one on the right being the hover state. Then with in the css define the layer so that the back ground only hows half the width, essentially the'active' state. then use the
"background-position:" css function to 'shift the image' giving it a rollover effect.
Nice try at a "tutorial on speed" what's with all the annoying background noises, a flushing toilet?? And did you really expect anyone to grasp what the hell you were typing in code?
Perhaps this was just a self gratuitous video for stroking ones ego?
Rubbish- do you really need to code or can you go into dreamweaver and set it up without the hassle of coding- and do we really need to learn the coding before using dreamweaver- chaaaaaaa! boy.
Then how would you really call yourself a web designer when all you do is make pictures and have DreamWeaver do it for you? You should at least learn to code before going and trying to take the easy way out :(
So far every tute I've watched has been great! You really make everything clear and easy to understand! I really appreciate people like you as I really can't afford to go to school for this right now! Thanks and plz keep up the good work!
Can you show the CSS coding for a vertical nav bar ?
Thanks,
Eric

Hi,
I would like to know how an roll over image can be used in an repeating region.
Is there somebody out there that has an example code? Thanx in advance!

Is it better to use java script(as in this example) or the css "a hover a active etc"?

Clicking the preload box prevents the delay you're talking about - doesn't cause it.

Dude can you pls show us more about roll overs and swap image? and to a full website?

Everyone makes the same basic mistake on these types of videos. You should always first show the end result and then show us how it was made.

I agree. That would be helpful. But otherwise, the presentation was well done.

Only total amateurs would rationalize it like you did. How is knowing your code, like a professional RUBBISH?
