Beck gave her 3 minutes of air time, which is a lot for radio. She was looking for an argument from the begining saying he needed to put his head back on his shoulders. She assumed his family has never struggled with medical bills, which she knows nothing about. She said other countries (France, Netherlands) give care to non-citizens (like they were ground breaking), but it happens in our ER's every day. She was a clueless drone - he was nice to let her drone on as long as he did.
BTW, I'm familiar with the clip. It was my ringtone for a while.... "I'm going to lose my mind, today!" haha

Saw the show live in KC I was in the 4th row. It was a really great show. But some of the people there might have taken it a little too seriously.... But it was really great with a lot of things that people should listen to.

Getting back to the topic of crying.. I find it odd that Beck's critics who knock his crying as fake never look at the context of the event. On many of the occassions he is crying in places that would make most people cry if they thought about it. Yet his critics seem to lack the humanity to realize the topic and its weight. Having read books like "The Federalist Papers" and such, written by many of those who's signatures are on the Declaration of Independence and other founding documents, I would say that what I was taught in puplic school was twisted and a complete lie. Likes of Olbermann and Matthews just rifle off a bunch of accusations and then continue without any proof of their arguments. That makes me suspicious. It also proves to me that they are wrong because when someone reverts to exclusive name calling they have proved to me they already lost the argument.

If you go to U.S. Treasury fact sheet you will find exactly how that came to be. It wasn't until 1956, McCarthyism and the communism paranoia that it was made the official U.S. motto.

Beck gave her 3 minutes of air time, which is a lot for radio. She was looking for an argument from the begining saying he needed to put his head back on his shoulders. She assumed his family has never struggled with medical bills, which she knows nothing about. She said other countries (France, Netherlands) give care to non-citizens (like they were ground breaking), but it happens in our ER's every day. She was a clueless drone - he was nice to let her drone on as long as he did.

Well, I guess I respectfully still don't accept that. Your buddy watched it, sent it to you and you watched it. Regardless of your reasoning, you watched it. Glenn Beck has risen from a virtual nobody among average American's (non-political activists) to someone who is 3rd in ALL cable shows, liberal, conservatives or moderates. Its interesting to see the people that can't stand Beck have come here to watch him. He obviously has generated big interest. Usually, when you don't like someone, you simply DON'T WATCH THEM. Gee...what a novel idea.

Had you actually seen an episode of his show you'd know he didn't approve of a lot of the Bush policies. In fact, he isn't a fan of any of the Bush's nor the Clintons. This Bush delusion, get over it.

People with no talent have ratings like Olbermann and Matthews. I'm surprised they pay the guys so much for a mere thousands in viewer ship. Hmmm... The likes of Beck, Hannity, O'Reilly, Greta, etc. have ratings the highest of all of them combined. What's funny about O'Reilly is he's not even a "conservative". Oh sure, he's no liberal, but he is not right nor left. You can have Jeraldo back though.

Well, using the writings of the founding fathers of the US as the basis for their arguments, I would like to know what exactly are they "bending", as you say, about history?
Having read books like "The Federalist Papers" and such, written by many of those who's signatures are on the Declaration of Independence and other founding documents, I would say that what I was taught in puplic school was twisted and a complete lie. The fact men like Glenn say find out for yourself, makes bending hard

The typical argument is always "they twist the facts" and yet they are the only ones that cite their sources and allow you to verify yourself. Likes of Olbermann and Matthews just rifle off a bunch of accusations and then continue without any proof of their arguments. That makes me suspicious. It also proves to me that they are wrong because when someone reverts to exclusive name calling they have proved to me they already lost the argument.

Beck does the same thing. So does Hannity, as all of them do. Simply because you heard of the Federalist papers because of Beck doesn't make him a historian, just another cherry picking opinionated television personality. This is obscenely evident in these people's "Christian nation" rants, since they ignore writing by Jefferson and others, including treaties of the US, to make their absurd claims.

The more I learn that the filter I was taught through (public school system) was total and complete crap. I still find it amusing how general the left is with this and cannot cite specific things that are being "spun", "twisted" or even "lied" about.

As to "Christian Nation" ranks. That's not exactly true. The founding fathers were religious men, not necessarily beholding to a specific doctrine, but all agreed to a higher power. Which is why the motto is "In God We Trust" and not "In Jesus..." or "In Jehovah..." etc.
All were quite interesting characters in and of themselves, not just Jefferson. Nevertheless, ALL believed in a smaller government (a Republic) that feared the people and worked for the people. That is historical fact.

In God we trust does not have anything to do with our founding fathers, but comes into being around the time of the civil war. If you go to U.S. Treasury fact sheet you will find exactly how that came to be. It wasn't until 1956, McCarthyism and the communism paranoia that it was made the official U.S. motto.

True, very true, about the motto part. It would seem history has vindicated McCarthy. It would seem he was right. Look at the Marxist in the oval office now.
Granted, McCarthy went off the deep end, but it wasn't paranoia that drove him there.
However, the writings of the founding fathers all clearly indicate (Adams for example) their form of government (a limited republic) would only work with a moral and religious people (one with personal liberty).
