One question ! I use Windows Movie Maker to upload my vids. Often , I like to combine the music with pictures which I found in google. Unfortunately , they have all a bad quality and I don't know how to improve that. There are many vids which contain HD pics.. I want to know how I can impove this ! @aimmaster18, you may use the latest version of Windows Live Movie Maker - it has sharing in Full HD 1080p quality. The output file is wmv and the quality is still not the best with the default compression options. I prefer Adobe Premiere Elements which gives much better quality and all possible output formats as well. This video is old indeed - now youtube has fantastic Full HD 1080p format option button and support for Adobe Flash 10.1 Beta 3 with GPU hardware acceleration.

hea guys,  for best quality you have to use a 3 chip hd camera which are expensive, you really can't great great quality with a small camera with limited optics, even if it is hd,,,, thanks for your help and hopefully these folks cussing on your comments will not do so in the future

if your using vegas right click the clips and chose to unclick maintain aspect ratio, providing you have set it to HD that should fill the screen

Just as well as widescreen there is a discovery on how to make Higher quality videos almost similar to HD but not in region in YouTube. So there'll be no need to "watch in HD" - There is still upgrades and props for the original 320x240 regions. I knowthis isn't related I'm just sharing the story.

i have problems making myn 16.9, i used movie maker 2 import all my footage. All the footage was shot in 16.9 & when i save it all n burn it to a disc its 16.9 but on utube it turns 4:3, but like its all originally 16.9, damm utube!!! =( idky utube made it 4:3 causE ITS ALL 16.9 even before i upload it onto youtube! what do i do 2 resolve this problem>>??? thanks

idealy youtube should let us decide! I would prefer (like everyone I'm sure) to upload FLV files directly to youtube. it would be great if they had 2 upload fields:

1. low video upload

2. high quality upload

someone uploading music (like myself) would prefer the audio to be better, where as video bloggers would prefer the video quality over the audio, IMHO, thus they would weigh up the size/audio/video per given uploaded video.

they could then have the novice uploader option.

check what video format your video is, and check if it is a compatible codec, cause the same happened to me with Nero Vision videos, even if the format was WMV, AVI or MPG youtube wouldn't accept it, I changed software and done.

Thnx for the help. I made a video for a game and worked on it for hours, it was one of my best. I then compressed it for a great quality for my pc and delete the old file that made the video... forgetting to compress it to a small file size. Making it useless to be able to be uploaded to youtube. After your great help i got it uploaded and working. Thanks for the help.

Right now I work with little guy call Microsoft MovieMaker. Not much work with, the other is AVI converter that I am still learning to use.Took me all day to upload the video I just done. Yet learn on my own since there nothing around for deaf to learn.

movie maker is a good program to get started but these settings can not be achieved with WMM. I sugest Sony Vegas. its roughly 100.00 - 120.00. its not adobe premier. but its a nice step up with more options. i think adobe would be too big of a leap.
