Mod1 is the gear measurement. Rustler's normally use 48p. Revo spurs are a direct fit to the Rustler, they use Mod1. Integy make 34, 36 steel spurs. Pinons come from a variety of sources but I purchase through RC Monster, they do up to 25t & have bore reducers to fit 1/8 shafts. Good luck
All the beta testing suggests it's a strong unit but physically bigger & definately 1/10. It can handle 6S which means that lower kv motors with more torque should be possible...which may mean you could run steel Mod1 gears with a bore reducer in the pinion. I think I'd hold off a purchase until any teething problems are sorted, like the MMM had in V1 & V2. If all goes to plan for Castle, I can see the Pro being used for a few new records, that's for sure
@dory1260 I talked to Castle and they said it'll only handle 3S on a 1/8th scale motor and up to 6s on 1/10 scale. I don't know of any 1/10th scale motor that can handle 6s but whatever. I've got the Pro because I have no intentions of going 1/8th scale power just yet.

I am currently running 76/33 and I am getting like 75mph. Any advice on how I could get mine to go faster? Thanks

If you have 75mph with a VXL, I doubt you have any speed left. Others have tried to get past 75 without success. You need to get more thrust, this means bigger motor/ESC/batteries & steel gears, no sliders etc

The video is sped up, just look how fast the camera is shaking and look at the tree blowing on the left and its moving to fast....That thing is only doing 40mph, my 75mph rustler would eat that up!!!
i have a 2 cell lipo and i had to get aluminum rear a arms, aluminum rear hubs, hardend steel camber links, and hardend steel drive yokes, and by the way, where do you get a 7 cell lipo? ive only heard of 3 cell

If you have 75mph with a VXL, I doubt you have any speed left. Others have tried to get past 75 without success. You need to get more thrust, this means bigger motor/ESC/batteries & steel gears, no sliders etc

I got a 7-cell lipo for mine and ive broken so far

Steering...x1
Tire cracked in the middle...x1
Hours of cleaning...x3 Dumb mud puddle
And all this in 3 days!!
