  • The only thing I can think of that could really improve this is if it had more than one shape.

  • i loved the sound at 1:25

  • would this be a good idea for me to get this as a first synth because im thinking this because it isnt too expensive ?

  • does it just plug into a speaker?

  • damn, that just got dirtier than an indian restaurant that ran out of toilet paper

  • The final 20 seconds of this video make me feel like my soul is having an orgasm.

  • Does it records what you play??

  • i just stuck a load of generic flat beats thru the filter in and smashed 'em to vcf smithereens..anyone who doesn't want one of these has no imagination.

  • is it conected to a software or thats its own sounds?

  • This is the first time that I'm somewhat impressed by pure electronic music

  • not bad for 60 bucks--a very simple way to learn about synthesis......i'll stick with my andromeda anyhow........

  • how many batteries would it use?

  • @killforfiend just two AAA batterys :D

  • @kragle2008 thank u! :)

  • just got one of these, Ive been mucking about making annoying sounds but these vids are giving me actual good ideas!

  • 2:39 "meowmeowmeowmeowmeowmeowmeow..."

  • Does it have the facility to attach a mic and record external sounds that u can then manipulate? sorry if this is an obvious question, im a synth noob. never owned one before but seriously considering buying one of these after stumbling across these videos

  • @dannycheesums it looks like at the back of the monotron there are areas to plug in for recording

  • if it just had a Attack/Decay envelope (or note sync on the LFO) and a midi input to trigger it, it would be cranking. (and a noise generator for drums).

  • @Biopharmer The LFO does retrigger every time you touch the ribbon, so if you set the rate very low, it acts as a simple envelope with a fast attack.

  • Product demonstrators suck showcasing the monotron. I don't usually like this guy Rich Formidoni and his demos. This time, though, he did a good job including examples with musical intention. Well done.

  • King Korg!
