@421XX you are right, that The Son of Man did not come to be King if The dead, but the living.. if you want to get into trinity theology, The Father is the King of that, but if all power and glory is to the Son(Who is The Father manifested anyways), than He rules over the grave and over Hell also. How will the damned be punished, if not by The Just hand of God Himself? Dont you get it? Satan does not rule Hell, he himself will be damned there.
@phreak1983 There is proof of God. Perhaps you have not searched thoroughly enough to find it. I have no desire to argue with anyone about issues like this. I believe in absolute truth, and I do not believe that what is true must be proven in order to remain true. The conscience is one of the many proofs of God's existence. We only have 5 physical senses and it is impossible to perceive God with those alone. I have yet to see someone prove that there is not a God.

Most of the church doesn't understand what Jesus did and falsely believe that they must add their human efforts in order to be forgiven even though they're aleady forgiven. Jesus forgave ALL of the sins of EVERYBODY(John 3:16). In doing so He glorified the Father and completed His mission(John 17: 4) and said "IT IS FINISHED( John 19:30). So therefore No more for us. Only trouble is that most of the church really doesn't understand the meaning of "It Is Finished. We still tend to think that God is still angry and mad at us. That we must still repent everytime that we sin. So we need to bring Him our laundry list of sins to Him so they can be forgiven or He won't forgive us,love us or use us anymore. When He already forgave us and washed away all of our sins at the cross of Calvary. All of our sins past,present and the future. We just need to BELIEVE !!
Petra talks alot about death because he had to be the curse, scapegoat, propitiation, and lamb...so death is God's great message to a world that into death up to their heads. Petra also lets us know as Paul did, I bring these things to your remembrfance so as not to forget. You may not be able to understand the price of our New Life in Christ before the Laws demands which are death n the missing of any commandments, but because Jesus died and fulfilled all of the laws then life is the gift.
I may not be very grateful for what you have done but I want you to know, deep down in my heart, I love you more than anything. And I thank you for everything you have done.

@phreak1983 I'm living proof that God exists. And WhiteLionKing: what does that mean, God doesn't believe in atheists? Why do people keep trying to argue about God? If you know him, you know what an exquisitely personal being he is. I was an atheist once. He believed in me and never gave up on me! I didn't have to change a thing, didn't have to adopt any doctrine or ideologies: he met me where I was when I cried out in anguish. Don't judge the atheist. Your time is better spent in prayer.

When those, who are not Jews, who do not have the law, by nature do the things contained in the law, these, although not having the law, are a law to themselves, who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them. Romans 2:14-15 They may choose not to believe, but this passage speaks for itself.

When it says "the war was over without a fight" it's referring to the fact that satan, has already lost and WE'RE VICTORIOUS!!!!!!Jesus made that happen when he was crucified. Most of the church doesn't understand what Jesus did and falsely believe that they must add their human efforts in order to be forgiven even though they're aleady forgiven. Jesus forgave ALL of the sins of EVERYBODY(John 3:16). In doing so He glorified the Father and completed His mission(John 17: 4) and said "IT IS FINISHED( John 19:30). So therefore No more for us. There is ONE work that is for humans to BELIEVE He is Messiah and BELIEVE what HE did was enough. ONE SIN : UNBELIEF.

@Funkdogg just because somebody goes to church and reads the Bible doesn't save them. There are millions or more Bible readers and church attendees who won't be in heaven. "Believe" is also not just believing in something. Believe means to put all of your faith,trust,confidence and reliance in something. That's not human works like going to church and reading the Bible. You're a believer only if you have faith,trust,confidence and reliance in what Jesus did for you and not what you do.

For one to say that WE HAVE TO BELIEVE IN ORDER TO BE SAVED is putting the weight on our children or "lost" people. THAT WOULD ALSO BE RELATED TO HUMAN EFFORT, saying that we HAVE TO believe. I do believe and am NOT Ashamed to say so, but this ACT does NOT SAVE ME. JESUS CHRIST DID SAVE US WHEN HE SHED THAT PERFECT BLOOD ON THE CROSS! Even for "LOST" or confused people.

Belief is about putting your total,full and complete faith,trust,confidence and reliance in what Jesus did for you and not what you may believe is belief. You can't please God with your ideas. There isn't any amount of your personal beliefs, ideas and works that will ever be enough to please God. That's why long before the creation began that God devised His plan of salvation and redemption.

Lot's of people have knowledge but deep in their heart they still don't believe and accept it. People aren''t going to Heaven just because Jesus died for them. They will not make Heaven unless they accept and believe what Jesus did ifor them in their hearts. The lost and relatives like children must make their own decision as well as the lost so the burden is on them like it or not.

@TheBillybill33 salvation is not about what you believe in your head but what you believe in your heart. It is what is in your heart that counts. Not your head knowledge but what you believe in your heart. Many talk like believers but still deny what Jesus and the Bible says and try to be saved their way and not God's way. That is denial and is unaceptable and makes the cross of noneffect and is a slap in God's face. It also tramples on the blood of Jesus.

By the way, you can't SELL God's love. It is given to us before we even "ACCEPT" it or "BELIEVE" in it. Even Satan "believes" in his mind's "heart" because it(Satan) was there in the days of Jesus beating temptations & Christ also shedding blood. Satan SAW THIS so obviously it knows in its "heart". Also, the heart is included with the mind. It goes hand in hand. Your heart is not just a blood pumping organ.I am so sick of preachers complicating the "salvation process" & trying to quote ABCs

That Jesus isn't God, you don't need to be born again and what He did wasn't enough which comes from an unclean mind and a unrenewed and a unregenerated life. You can't get something from God that you don't believe in. Your belief appropiates the free gift of God . Unbelief denies Christ and all He has done in our behalf. Salvation is a gift which must be accepted .

And I don't think he is saying that about any specific person (just to be clear). I don't think you should be judging him, based on a few type-written comments. There are too many possible misunderstandings when reading text. There is no way you can assume he is the type of person that gives children anxiety problems.

Only trouble is that most of the church really doesn't understand the meaning of "It Is Finished. We still tend to think that God is still angry and mad at us. That we must still repent everytime that we sin. So we need to bring Him our laundry list of sins to Him so they can be forgiven or He won't forgive us,love us or use us anymore. When He already forgave us and washed away all of our sins at the cross of Calvary. All of our sins past,present and the future. We just need to BELIEVE !!

Petra talks alot about death because he had to be the curse, scapegoat, propitiation, and lamb...so death is God's great message to a world that into death up to their heads. Petra also lets us know as Paul did, I bring these things to your remembrfance so as not to forget. You may not be able to understand the price of our New Life in Christ before the Laws demands which are death n the missing of any commandments, but because Jesus died and fulfilled all of the laws then life is the gift.
