@AkaCakeMaster No problem, thanks for watching! They are 2.75 inches, the cloest in mm would be a 70mm with 75mm (closer to 3") being a standard that many CJers start with.
HEELP! My sister just painted my stage ball,it's pen ink but it hasn't come off,I´ve tried alcohol, hair spray, dish washer, and acetone! how can I clean it?
so if I am using a tennis ball for contact juggling it might not be that I am really bad (okay I just started so I won't lie but I don't think I am too bad) I bought a fushigi since i got it for 5 bucks off Amazon.

I started a few days ago, and I used a softball and occasionally a croquet ball just because it's a solid color will no tell marks [ You know... after I went over all the chips with black nail polish. xP]
I wanna get a clear one though, just 'cause it would look awesome when I -attempt- to perform next year. xD
Nice breakdown of the ball types man. I like the sil-x but just ordered a play stage ball. I've heard some folks say they don't want onlookers accusing them of having some gimmick in the ball that makes the "tricks" possible. So they don't use the sil-x for street performances.
@orgasm111 they shouldn't have tell marks, but i recommend buying a 4 inch sil-x ball in addition to the acrylic(and don't go for a 3 inch acrylic, at least 3.5 inchs) the sil-x has tell marks (a seam and plug) but it's rubbery and doesn't damage anything like an acrylic does
Great video. I like the comparison. I watched this and daydreamjugglers comparison, and it seems that the SilX is a very popular choice for beginners, so I ordered one a few days ago. I am embarrassingly bad at doing anything, the ball I use is way too large and light, and not very dense. Can't wait to do some real practice.
I bought a sil-x and I'm waiting for it to arrive in the mail. How is the sil-x with tell marks? Because I know that there's a plug in there to keep the silicone inside.
@godzillalikespie Wow. After posting posting this comment I left to the kitchen and saw a DHL truck in the driveway and got my ball. Nope, no problems with the plug.
is the Sil-X squishy. and i got a fushigi like 6 -7 months ago and im getting good at it but my fushigi has lots of scratches and marks on it from droping it in my early contact juggling days and i wanted to know if the Sil-X is a good buy and where can i get it
(I could have sworn I hit "post", apparently it didn't work XD)
I'm really looking into getting the Sil-X ball, it's beginning to sound more and more like what would fit me best. The only thing that worries me is the size, everyone says to go for the 4 inch, but I have tiny hands DX Does it only seem that big and I'm just paranoid? Or should I look at ones a tad smaller?
@DeI2anGeD I had never heard of contact juggling until I bought my Fushigi on clearance at Toys R Us a few hours ago. I think if it takes something a little gimmicky to get people into something fun like this, no harm done. Those of us with Fushigis can explore other options as we get better at it. ^_-
@aslyter45 it has so many tell marks, and the fact that there is another ball in the ball makes it even worse. It is quite sticky, and as i said before, so many tell marks
@aslyter45 the ball inside is not placed exactly inside, and since im pretty sure the 2 balls have different weights, that means a center of gravtiy not in the middle, therefore when you spin fast, you can tell that it is spinning. The ball inside was a really stupid idea. The material is okay though
@DeI2anGeD Okay thanks for the help. Im on a tight budget, so I was only able to order myself some 2.5 aka 65mm. I got 4, hopefully I bought the right kind
Hey Floyd, could you PLEASE make a video about multiball ball sizes? Ive been in single ball for a little over a year and a half, and decided its time to start going multi. (I only have 17cm from wrist to tip of middle finger btw) But, I can only order online and I dont want to spend hard earned cash just to buy balls that dont fit. Any help is really appreciated!

I'm 12 and have small hands, to get started with contact juggling i want a Sil-x Ball and i found 2 different choices; a 3.07 inch and a 4 inch. Which would be better for practicing? And is there any colors that look really good while contact juggling that you woud reccomened?

@oranges4me well...i would recommend the 2.75 in clear acrylic ball...i dont like the fushigi because the chrome center (in all of the fushigi balls i've seen) is not center which gets on my nerves because i like everything to be symmetrical...so yea
Good evening! I am a seventeen year-old magician with VERY small hands. The measurement from my wrist to the tip of my middle finger is about 5.75". I have just received a 3" acrylic ball as a gift and would love to pursue contact juggling. Would you suggest finding a smaller ball to use? Have you seen jugglers with such small hands?

@meisobama It's not Fushigi o.0 its Contact Juggling. Fushigi is only a brand of Contact Juggling Balls. I just bought a Fushigi Ball this week and, truely, it was a bad purchase on my part. The metal ball inside was off center and theres a smudge inside of the clear part that looks like a booger and is not removable): i bought this from the actual website and it kinda irritates me that i paid $20 and then some for shipping. Definitely go for a regular acrylic or stage ball x.x not Fushigi.
"After a few drops, you're gonna get juice everywhere."
After a FEW drops? You must not know how I drop things, I send them flying at the ground and/or a person, depends on my mood.
Would an acrylic be good to start with, I also have small(er than yours) hands, I have a model paperweight Earth which seems about 3-4 inches, and as heavy as the black one. I will go measure it and scale it to what I think I'd need :>
hey, I've been following what you've been teaching for a while and last year I was able to buy a larger ball that fits my hand.
I'm female at 5'9" so I'm not extremely tall.
The ball that I've been using is a solid wooden ball at about 1 1/2 to 2 pounds. There are a lot of tell marks, but that doesn't bother me as I only use it for control practice. Is a wooden ball okay to use, or would that cause to many problems because of the material its made out of?
my friend briught his ball to school lst week and it was a tennis ball, what he did was to open it and put dirt in it then rap it in tape and it worker perfectly and he was telling me about this video but i want to know should i do wat he did or try and buy one of the balls cas i live jamaica
i might buy the 12.50 stage ball im just curious about the website. could i trust using my credit card info? as well as how is the shipping? Also great video. this was really helpful
hello, thx for the tips on what ball to buy! i have a 2.5 inch acrylic contact juggling ball, (and it IS made for contact juggling). I'm worried it might be too small cuz of what u told us. but i was also thinking that "it's a 2.5 inch ball, I'm a 10 year old girl, so i have small hands. is this a good size?" so i was wondering if it was too small? please reply! thx!
Okay :D

"After a few drops, you're gonna get juice everywhere."
After a FEW drops? You must not know how I drop things, I send them flying at the ground and/or a person, depends on my mood.
Would an acrylic be good to start with, I also have small(er than yours) hands, I have a model paperweight Earth which seems about 3-4 inches, and as heavy as the black one. I will go measure it and scale it to what I think I'd need :>
Then I am going to bed.

hey, I've been following what you've been teaching for a while and last year I was able to buy a larger ball that fits my hand.
I'm female at 5'9" so I'm not extremely tall.
The ball that I've been using is a solid wooden ball at about 1 1/2 to 2 pounds. There are a lot of tell marks, but that doesn't bother me as I only use it for control practice. Is a wooden ball okay to use, or would that cause to many problems because of the material its made out of?

hello, thx for the tips on what ball to buy! i have a 2.5 inch acrylic contact juggling ball, (and it IS made for contact juggling). I'm worried it might be too small cuz of what u told us. but i was also thinking that "it's a 2.5 inch ball, I'm a 10 year old girl, so i have small hands. is this a good size?" so i was wondering if it was too small? please reply! thx!
