  • Okay :D

    Thanks for replying! :-D

  • Hey.

Thanks for the nice video :-D

    - How many mm are the clear acrylic balls you got? :-D

  • @AkaCakeMaster No problem, thanks for watching! They are 2.75 inches, the cloest in mm would be a 70mm with 75mm (closer to 3") being a standard that many CJers start with.

  • @DeI2anGeD where can i find cheap clear acylic ones (britishj currency preferably! :D)

  • Very helpful. Thanks for taking the time to film this.

  • Pause 1:52

  • Pause at 1:52

  • I love the fact that you use so much time on trashing the tennis ball :)

  • Thank you for this, I've just bought myself that white one. I'll see how I do. Great help.

  • the black ball is how many mm

  • @MrFelipe1015 3 and a half inches

  • his balls look FANTASTIC

  • @julietstar1234 I always wanted to hear that from a girl too :( XD

  • Thanks..You answered all my questions.

  • im starting contact juggling and im practicing with a bouncy ball, but what do you think is better :)

  • I started trying to learn contact juggling today...I now have the most bruised orange I've seen in my life.

  • what about a ball from a pool table?

  • @JOMIZZO to small and its got numbers on it to show when doing spin levitation!

  • the leprechaun contact juggles

  • 11 people has tiny balls

  • does amyone what are some sites i can order them from? all the more popular/ recommended sites are out of stock

  • HEELP! My sister just painted my stage ball,it's pen ink but it hasn't come off,I´ve tried alcohol, hair spray, dish washer, and acetone! how can I clean it?

  • @franzeror Try hairspray. It works pretty good in getting the ink out of my shirt pockets when I forget to use my pocket protecter.

  • He sure know alot about balls.

  • Great video, I've wanted to start contact juggling for a while but was unsure what to get for a starter ball

  • Thanks for the help.

  • How big ARE your hands (like, length?) and how big hands do you think would be necessary for a 4" ball?

  • @Bunnyonastick haha i know right? if you wasnt tryin to be harsh, you wouldnt say it, sounds well rude! lol.

    i agree with this person!

  • so if I am using a tennis ball for contact juggling it might not be that I am really bad (okay I just started so I won't lie but I don't think I am too bad) I bought a fushigi since i got it for 5 bucks off Amazon.

  • ya know what you might be the stupidest queerbag no life thumb-sucker that i have ever seen o and by the way i swear that you live with your mommy and still have a racecar bed and still wear a onsie and sleep with a teddy bear

  • Veyr helpful! Thanks!

  • You got some nice balls there

  • lmao at the sideburns

  • that dude has alot of balls!!! XD lol

  • i got a 70 mm acrylic ball. I got big hands but im not having any problems with the 70 mm. Its gonna take a long time to learn.

  • Thanks soooo much now I now how to contact juggle!=)

  • @DeI2anGeD can you list out those website that you say? I wan't to check it out.....

  • This guy loves his balls!!!

  • Great info... Just getting started with a Fushigi...

  • i have small hands which means ill need a smaller ball...... com'n....

  • @StealthyPotatoes ate renegade juggling

  • You look like the waiter that served me at this hookah bar.

  • Informative! Just starting out, thanks for the direction!

  • thumbs up if you never even tried with a tennis ball.

  • Youtube needs to learn grammar.

  • oranges dont leave juice all over the place wen u drop them....wat u tlkin bout...dat was d very first ball i started contact juggling wid so obviously i dropped it alot....an i saw no juice....but has loads of tell marks and dey do go bad..plus they strink after a while...i shud kno i used mine for bout 2-3 weeks....u shudda seen it

  • Even oranges are out of my budget. xP

I started a few days ago, and I used a softball and occasionally a croquet ball just because it's a solid color will no tell marks [ You know... after I went over all the chips with black nail polish. xP]

I wanna get a clear one though, just 'cause it would look awesome when I -attempt- to perform next year. xD

  • Nice breakdown of the ball types man. I like the sil-x but just ordered a play stage ball. I've heard some folks say they don't want onlookers accusing them of having some gimmick in the ball that makes the "tricks" possible. So they don't use the sil-x for street performances.

  • he said balls alot.

  • So the best way is: Buy an orange, try if you like juggling, eat orange, and than buy silicone ball for long time practice :-D

  • do the clear acrylics have any tell marks im thinking of buying one

  • @orgasm111 they shouldn't have tell marks, but i recommend buying a 4 inch sil-x ball in addition to the acrylic(and don't go for a 3 inch acrylic, at least 3.5 inchs) the sil-x has tell marks (a seam and plug) but it's rubbery and doesn't damage anything like an acrylic does

  • @saderguy ok but the only ball i could find was a 3 inch

  • where did you get the Sil-X ball? i'm having trouble finding it

  • @RandomSkitts neonhusky and jugglingstore are just a sites that sell them

  • thanks man, this was very helpful

  • Would you reccomend the white one for an absolute beginer?

  • @LifeWithSideburns yeeaaa

  • Great video. I like the comparison. I watched this and daydreamjugglers comparison, and it seems that the SilX is a very popular choice for beginners, so I ordered one a few days ago. I am embarrassingly bad at doing anything, the ball I use is way too large and light, and not very dense. Can't wait to do some real practice.

  • is the acrylic ball a glass, or is it a hard rubber type of material, and can u put a link on were you bought the white silex ball, thanks

  • @iTzTaCoBoY pretty sure its mainy hard plastic with other materials, but it feels like glass, very smooth

  • I bought a sil-x and I'm waiting for it to arrive in the mail. How is the sil-x with tell marks? Because I know that there's a plug in there to keep the silicone inside.

  • @godzillalikespie Wow. After posting posting this comment I left to the kitchen and saw a DHL truck in the driveway and got my ball. Nope, no problems with the plug.

  • im gonna buy a marble with a hollow centre that bounces =D

  • thanks a bunch for the Silx i was curious about it :)

  • is the Sil-X squishy. and i got a fushigi like 6 -7 months ago and im getting good at it but my fushigi has lots of scratches and marks on it from droping it in my early contact juggling days and i wanted to know if the Sil-X is a good buy and where can i get it

  • Tennis balls are terrible for three ball juggling - they are far too light.

  • where could u get a regular acrylics contact juggling ball. someone please tell me???

  • Muttonchops

  • vampire713 owns your fucking ass, you will never be on his level bitch

  • (I could have sworn I hit "post", apparently it didn't work XD)

I'm really looking into getting the Sil-X ball, it's beginning to sound more and more like what would fit me best. The only thing that worries me is the size, everyone says to go for the 4 inch, but I have tiny hands DX Does it only seem that big and I'm just paranoid? Or should I look at ones a tad smaller?

  • i just have a fushigi

  • The Fushigi ball is one of the lowest quality acrylic balls on the market. But hey, if it's all you got, use it.

  • @DeI2anGeD I had never heard of contact juggling until I bought my Fushigi on clearance at Toys R Us a few hours ago. I think if it takes something a little gimmicky to get people into something fun like this, no harm done. Those of us with Fushigis can explore other options as we get better at it. ^_-

  • @DeI2anGeD

what makes it low quality? just curious.

  • @aslyter45 it has so many tell marks, and the fact that there is another ball in the ball makes it even worse. It is quite sticky, and as i said before, so many tell marks

  • @ghfreakwierdo123

really? from everything i've seen of it i can't really see any tells. it makes sense that a ball inside a ball would look less convincing though.

  • @aslyter45 the ball inside is not placed exactly inside, and since im pretty sure the 2 balls have different weights, that means a center of gravtiy not in the middle, therefore when you spin fast, you can tell that it is spinning. The ball inside was a really stupid idea. The material is okay though

  • the only thing rong with the fushigi is that it has the chrome on the inside

  • @DeI2anGeD orange is lower quality :/

  • @DeI2anGeD That is true, and it is good for practice for beginners, right?

  • is the fushigi ball best? or is it so expensive because its on tb and shit?

  • @TheHaZMaTBand, I have small hands and use 2.75" acrylics. I should have bought 3" though, they look better in the hands

  • @DeI2anGeD Okay thanks for the help. Im on a tight budget, so I was only able to order myself some 2.5 aka 65mm. I got 4, hopefully I bought the right kind

  • @DeI2anGeD P.S. I believe I seen a ps3 in anther video of yours, you add people?

  • @DeI2anGeD where do you buy acrylics

  • @DreamsofCentaurs ... u would hate me then lol

  • Hey Floyd, could you PLEASE make a video about multiball ball sizes? Ive been in single ball for a little over a year and a half, and decided its time to start going multi. (I only have 17cm from wrist to tip of middle finger btw) But, I can only order online and I dont want to spend hard earned cash just to buy balls that dont fit. Any help is really appreciated!

    Juggler, and guitarist,

    -Kevin

  • yeah the sideburns are no issue to me and i'm a chick. i just got my fushigi and its pretty cool, but its like almost twenty bucks expensive

  • If u have a softball around, that might be ok for practicing (obviously it has tell marks, though), good weight, i think

  • how about pool balls

  • ok not being mean here, I am sorry if I come off mean. I am a girl so take this to heart del2anged. get rid of the muttonchops. girls will not find it atractive, I am a girl and it... :/ well it grosses me out. but thanks for the advice on CJ balls I can use. Tatty bye

  • @DreamsofCentaurs no offense taken. I've had my sideburns shaved off for about a year now, so maybe it's time for a new video.

  • @DeI2anGeD Don't listen to her!!!!!!!

  • @DreamsofCentaurs i think sideburns rock, by personal view and im a girl :o take david tennant (not every girls choice but hey...) hes fit to my standards and he has awesome little fluffy sideburns xD its everyones different opinion =]

  • @DreamsofCentaurs just because you don't like them doesn't mean all girls won't like them, im a guy and i find read heads with freckles and long flowing hair VERY attractive, while one of my friends finds readheads not hot at all. not everyone is attracted to the exact same kind of girl and vise versa.

  • @DreamsofCentaurs that's your opinion ;D

  • @DreamsofCentaurs lol I totally agree;)

  • Haha pause anytime during the videoand he looks like he is derping!

  • I'm 12 and have small hands, to get started with contact juggling i want a Sil-x Ball and i found 2 different choices; a 3.07 inch and a 4 inch. Which would be better for practicing? And is there any colors that look really good while contact juggling that you woud reccomened?

  • you are the men of the program of televicion of the change of wifes?

  • you are the men of the program of televicion of the change of wifes?

  • I just got my first contact juggling ball. On your recommendation I got the sil-x four inch. Although it cost more in austalia I am glad to have dogged the acrylics that could have been a disaster. Now I am watching your I tutorials which is best to start with?

  • @thepieguy34 , Go with a 4 inch. 3 will be a bit too light

  • Comment removed

  • @oranges4me well...i would recommend the 2.75 in clear acrylic ball...i dont like the fushigi because the chrome center (in all of the fushigi balls i've seen) is not center which gets on my nerves because i like everything to be symmetrical...so yea

  • I use a trackball from a really old computer mouse

  • small hands like a bitch

  • @camk519 you're cool...calling him a bithc and what not...ohhh i sooo want to be like you when i grow up...such a bad ass

  • you payed a dollar fifty for an orannge !?

  • can i use a softball for practice ?

  • Good evening! I am a seventeen year-old magician with VERY small hands. The measurement from my wrist to the tip of my middle finger is about 5.75". I have just received a 3" acrylic ball as a gift and would love to pursue contact juggling. Would you suggest finding a smaller ball to use? Have you seen jugglers with such small hands?

  • How did you learn how to contact juggle? Youtube? Lessons?

  • what about pool balls those are heavy enogh some of them dont have detail so you can practice with them:)

  • why doesnt fushigi just do this instead it would be way better and hold on hold on i have smaller hands so i need a smaller ball ...... so the saying is true jk im sorry but all the word ball sonds soooo gay but im facinated

  • why doesnt fushigi just do this instead it would be way better and hold on hold on i have smaller hands so i need a smaller ball ...... so the saying is true jk

  • why doesnt fushigi just do this instead it would be way better and hold on hold on i have smaller hands so i need a smaller ball ...... so the saying is true

  • why doesnt fushigi just do this instead it would be way better

  • FUSHIGI rulz!!! i'd like to learn how to fushigi.

  • @meisobama It's not Fushigi o.0 its Contact Juggling. Fushigi is only a brand of Contact Juggling Balls. I just bought a Fushigi Ball this week and, truely, it was a bad purchase on my part. The metal ball inside was off center and theres a smudge inside of the clear part that looks like a booger and is not removable): i bought this from the actual website and it kinda irritates me that i paid $20 and then some for shipping. Definitely go for a regular acrylic or stage ball x.x not Fushigi.

  • where do you get acrylic balls?

  • thax man!1

  • haha 4:30

  • I have heard for multiball, its great to go to a craft store and buy some wooden ones. Spraypaint, and a clear gloss paint. Have you heard of that?

  • Hey dude i undersatand sun rays can damage the clear acrylic, but can the rays from your lamp damage it?

  • do you have a website i can go to?

  • "After a few drops, you're gonna get juice everywhere."

After a FEW drops? You must not know how I drop things, I send them flying at the ground and/or a person, depends on my mood.

Would an acrylic be good to start with, I also have small(er than yours) hands, I have a model paperweight Earth which seems about 3-4 inches, and as heavy as the black one. I will go measure it and scale it to what I think I'd need :>

Then I am going to bed.

  • hey, I've been following what you've been teaching for a while and last year I was able to buy a larger ball that fits my hand.

I'm female at 5'9" so I'm not extremely tall.

The ball that I've been using is a solid wooden ball at about 1 1/2 to 2 pounds. There are a lot of tell marks, but that doesn't bother me as I only use it for control practice. Is a wooden ball okay to use, or would that cause to many problems because of the material its made out of?

  • ill give your mom somthn fun that comes in a tube

  • my friend briught his ball to school lst week and it was a tennis ball, what he did was to open it and put dirt in it then rap it in tape and it worker perfectly and he was telling me about this video but i want to know should i do wat he did or try and buy one of the balls cas i live jamaica

  • hello, thx for the tips on what ball to buy! i have a 2.5 inch acrylic contact juggling ball, (and it IS made for contact juggling). I'm worried it might be too small cuz of what u told us. but i was also thinking that "it's a 2.5 inch ball, I'm a 10 year old girl, so i have small hands. is this a good size?" so i was wondering if it was too small? please reply! thx!
