Lol, this longbow rupting just proves how fake this is, the flight time + the activation time is more then the actual casting time of the interrupted spell, so in fact you shoot before he even pressed a button to activate his skill. Rupting 0,5 sec skill is possible with very good connection, so if this were real, this just showed you have good connection...

Terrible vid. The first half is set up. You can tell because you cast one spell then the second, he uses rupt as you cast the first, hitting the second spell. Second half is just a one second cast time. The average human reaction time is 0.3 seconds giving the arrow 0.7 seconds to hit and even that was obviously pre-planned when to rupt as you cast always on start of recording. Best interrupter in the game my fucking ass.

good interrupters can get 1/4 spells by reading the other players movements, generally if they are kiting then stop you know they are gonna cast a spell. Bit harder to do on a ranger than a mes tho.

@Valdraya well, the fact that the monk had HB up was a nice touch. And rupting is easier on a mes as you dont have to worry about being dodged/blocked/blind, and you dont have to worry about flight time. I was actually quite impressed with the max distance long bow rupting because of that amazing reaction time.

this is actually nothing great, cuz it could be staged and we don't even know what buffs the ranger is using, like Read the wind with Favorable Winds, tha'd make the arrows move alot faster, for a more timed/quick interrupt. nothin special

preemptive interrupts are quite useful for interrupting 1/4 casts, but this video's content is just normal, nothing phenomenal.

Mind, I am definetly not saying you're a bad ranger, but Crow is THE best ranger ingame, period..

If you want to be named a strong ranger: show video of:

Qrupting a target after KD: both with war (stonefist) and without

Qrupting a monk/rit by timing his getting in-range with a target

Killing both Rend and DW during an opponent's spike

Keeping both Diversion and Blurred down for over two minutes

Catch an opponent's WoH with Dshot during your team's spike

in GvG match, not in scrim

Interrupting 1/2 sec cast spells with 1/2 sec cast attack skills and no IAS=obvious set up.

Even if he was using an ias (1/2) [rupt cast time] x (2/3) [highest ias is 1/3, reducing it to 2/3 the normal speed] = 1/3 of a second.

that gives him less than 1/5 of a second to not only SEE someone casting but also to ACTIVATE the skill and then for it to MOVE (even if it was close range, still a delay).

You know that even though Ranger rupt skills say 0.5s Casttime, they really are 0.25s?

This in turn means the ranger had 0.25s to deal with Ping, Reaction and Flighttime.

Which - if this is not a fake - is quite a feat.

Another possibility would of course be a bot.

And Guardian isn't influenced by HB.

Nevertheless the Flight Time for an arrow shot from a longbow at max. distance is exactly 1s.

So that should prove this video not to be accurate.

It's not impressive because ranger interrupts at melee distance are instant. Not to mention he shoots BEFORE the guy casts with the max distance and long bow one. Definitely working together, show some actual playing footage of a real match and i'll be impressed
