If anyone is wondering "How do you pronounce C'thulhu?" Yet again we humans can only guess at how it would be pronounced. But thankfully I've come across a book by SIMON (A master-mind in the C'thulhu cult). he explains it like this: The only way we humans can even come close to properly pronouncimg it is Kh'thulhlu.

in order to correctly pronounce this great launguage youd need to have a mouth large enough to house 9 tounges and 6 sets of vocal chords. the closeswt humans can come to saying R'lyeh is: Err-ul-yeh (and the yeh has to be pronouced gutterally e followed by a u (so dig deep for it)). So it would look like this, Err'ulyeuh. Hope that this helps you my fellow cultists: Ia Ia C'thulhu Fh'tagn!!!!

At the beginning you sing that the stars look very pretty from /ri'leɪ/, but later when you sing the invocation "ph'nglui mglw'nafh cthulhu r'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn" you use different pronunciation... Not that it's terribly important... Yeah, I know I'm fussy.

I've heard it pronounced many different ways, from ril-LAY to ril-YEAH to ril-YEKH (sounding a bit like the speaker was going to vomit). Even Lovecraft wasn't consistent in his pronunciation suggestions. I think it's because the language isn't supposed to be pronounced by humans in the first place. ;-)

Ooh, that's "Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth", for the first Xbox.

Brilliant game, but probably one of the single-most difficult I've played-- I'm really close to the end, but I haven't beaten it yet. I've had it for about 3 or 4 years. .

Difficulty aside, the story and gameplay is excellent. :3

There is a PC version however it was transferred from xbox by two private investors so it was never de-bugged. You can find a buggy version on Steam if you really want. Find the CoCDCotE forums to get some fan-patches to help with some de-bugging
