  • sounds great!

  • Impressive performance buddy! I've heard this solo almost 30 years ago and never can figure out how to do that.

Only one point: maybe you should drag your finger at 0:26 to emulate the fretless effect.

The sound is perfect too. Congratulations!

  • @rodolp thanks, . . . this was very difficult to learn. Jeff uses very "un-natural" fingerings.

Yeah, that part at 0:26 where he does that half-step bend, with the weird timing, . .

not even sure if I'm doing it right. My finger did slip off the string at the end of it,

so I messed it up a little. This solo is hard on the fingers. Jeff's fingers are super-human.

  • got it perfectly

  • nice

  • Bravo!!!!

  • Wow!!! Excellent job! How did you learn this? Was it by ear or did you have sheet music?

I've been trying to get that main riff down in Joe Frazier. Playing it at that speed is no easy task

  • @ZappaFan101 Thank you Actually, I got this solo from an early Guitar Player magazine (1983 ??) where Jeff was the featured bass player in it. And Jeff did the transcribing for it (not in tabs, of course).

I'm still working on the main theme to this song too. It's difficult at the correct tempo.

  • This is one tough solo to play. Excellent job.
