bought the same one!i like it cause it's heavy and sits down well!just one problem though,i you try to remove the touch here sticker watch out,cause the nickel paint gets out very easy!do it without your nails!i also have another lacie for about 4 years and works just fine till now,that why i chose to buy this one

Its a beautiful external drive. I might pick one up as they're only like US$120 on the LaCie site. The only thing kinda holding me back is that it doesn't have eSATA, so I would basically be buying this drive for looks. Looks vs. Performance, tough choice. :(

--> reparation, if it's broke normally take like 1 month.. (-.-)

Well it can't be much worse than that crap that wd puts out..

I had an 2.5" WD External drive, it crapped out after just merly two yrs. And I didn't had it pluged in all the time. Suddenly the drive started to make funny noises and stopped working. Guess what, I took it out into my garage and beat the fucking hell out of that WD piece of shit. Never will I buy wd again. I have a maxtor hardrive which has been continusly running for like 4-5 yrs and not a hickup.

But I have this product and its so nice, its heavy, solid and does the job.

LaCie is more about the style over substance.
