I saw Barney's commercial and he continues to lie. He is a Democrat who lies about being a Republican who changed for Obama. He also lies about the Republicans moving his job out of the country. The record proves that Barney is lying about both things. He voted ONCE in a Republican Primary. The rest of the time he is a run of the mill Democrat. Come straight on this Barney. It feels good to tell the truth.

I didn't say that you need to register for a party. I said that you have to declare a party to vote in an Indiana Primary. I think it is clear what happened here. Barney is upset because the RCA plant he worked at took away his fisher price plastic tool set. They simply couldn't afford to pay him to pretend to work anymore. Yes it was cute for people taking a tour of the plant to see Barney wearing hard hats like the big boys do, but it was just too expensive to keep Barney around. He kept throwing tantrums and destroying television sets.

Every four years, the people who make millions and live lives of luxury scare enough hard working people who are barely getting by to vote against their own interests and put a "pro-business" Republican in the White House. I have friends who had been life long republicans who are not voting for McCain and have told me that they might vote for Obama. None have committed, as republicans are the breed of people who stick with something, even if they know it's wrong. So I don't count on even one of them to vote for Obama, they'll just stay home.

For those of you who tuned in late, the public voting record for the last 3 primaries shows that Barney voted twice in the Democratic primary and once (2006) in the Republican primary. Pilgrim512008 you're a dufus. In Indiana there are areas where there are so few Democrats that they can meet in a phone booth. Vice-versa in other areas. So, if you want your vote to count LOCALLY you often have to ask for a Democratic ballot in the primaries even if you're a Republican.
