You know, recolouring is a lot easier with the Erasure Trick:

First, Left-Click the color you want to change (with the dropper), and then Right click the color you want to change it to. Then Right-Click and hold it and run over the sprite. Voila, it's recolored :D .

never ever erase a pokemon until your done you might need it for recoloring just use the shape selector(dotted star or square)

Love the tutorial but when recouloring just click the color you want with the pick color tool, you then right click on the color you want to replace it with, and you go to the rubber and draw on it but dont left click, right click and thats how i do it!

Hey, Cricketgl, look up iDraw, the Chara Maker. Although it's limited to a total of 256 colors per picture, it's actually extremely useful, and in many ways, better than Paint. With select by color, select by color in visible area only, fill edges, x 40 zoom, and 999 total undos, it and GIMP 2.6 (Which are both free.) are my draw programs of choice.

Not saying the splices aren't really good, just saying it would be much faster/easier.
