  • What I love is that while the game (Which I loved) wasn't exactly a game of the year award winner it definitely had top musicianship work on it's soundtrack

  • Reminds me of Ratchet & Clank for some reason.

  • @Perfect7en Same here. listen with headphones you can hear it better.

  • I'm not gonna lie, I loved the werehog levels. Retro gaming is overrated in my opinion. Variety makes things interesting, and games don't get much attention without uniqueness. It's the freaking repetitive daytime levels that frustrated me. I wanted more places to run, not break open boxes.

  • @MetaMike100 I know right. Why would I buy a Sonic game to play as Sonic? You know, let's make each Sonic game play differently because that's so great and innovative!

But I have to agree,I hated the daytime stages.

  • I wonder if this game's awesome soundtrack can compare to that of Skyword Sword?...hmm...

  • @affansonicfan GRRRAAAAHHH! My wii has been broken for a year and 4 mod. now. All these comments I've heard about Skyward Sword being awesome makes me want to fix it post haste.

  • wish the werehog comes back to bad he didn't in the new sonic game

  • @Shadow7324 I was so disappointed with that. If they would've used Super Sonic and the Werehog for Perfect Chaos and Egg Dragoon's fights, I'd be wanting the game. But considering they threw the gimmicks to the curve to appease retro retards, I'm trying to forget about the game. Hard to do, considering people are raving about it being "the best Sonic game in years." >_> People have no taste in games. Variety is not bad.

  • F*** reviews, this is my favorite Sonic game since the Genesis days... and Sonic is 4 years older than I am.

  • This is my FAVORITE SONG of Sonic Unleashed!

  • Thumbs up you like Werehog and his songs :)

  • @Gambito99100 And if you love Beat Em Ups XD

  • @RandomAHOL YES! Beat n' ups are awesome! XD

  • Be honest and thumbs either direction if u want-

At the beginning like the day stages when you can do the spin dash, instead of that, what if right when sonic howled, you shook the wii remote (if it does the same on XBox and PS, rapidly pressing any button) and sonic howled even longer or muuuuuchhhhh louder and as a result, your unleashed energy gets a big headstart!

  • @123Ureadthishah That'd be sooooo badass. I like that idea.

  • i thought spagonia was in england cuz on the rooftop level ive seen the london clock tower that sonic ran on

  • @vgman94 Yeah you're right Colors is a bit overrated (great game just overrated) I actually hope we eventually get another game featuring the Werehog. Until then I'll just count the days until Sonic Generations releases lol. >.<' Only 17 days to go!

  • *werehog howl*

  • @vgman94 Thank you for explaining this to people because I've tried telling people that Sonic is more than just speed but they won't listen.... I'll ask them "Well why in your opinion is Sonic Unleashed such a terrible game?" they just say Sonic games are all about speed and fail to come up with other reasons. A shame really be Sonic Unleashed is awesome I personally pick it over Sonic Colors.

  • @kingblaze979 Your comment didn't show up in my inbox. I only came across this by accident. Weird. I agree. I prefer this and most Sonic games over Colors. IMO, Colors is VERY overrated. Unleashed had so much polish, yet it gets crapped on for being different. Sonic is not all about speed. The series has always been more than that. People never want to listen, do they?

  • the music in this stage is amazing!

  • It would've been brilliant if Knuckles had the Werehog controls and stages in this game :o

  • I played the Wii version Night stages more than on the XBox version. I think it's cause I grew up on Nintendo.

  • i forget where eggmanland was at but it was not just eggmanland it was one of these continents

  • man i fell in love the soft, calm nature of this song and this music was the only reason i would play the werehog stages.

  • if i was a werewolf at night i wuld want this to ply

  • a bit of sexy

  • Spagonia = España = Spain

    I love this song! =)

  • It sounds like Spy music sneaking around, giving the dark gaia creatures the time of their lives >:D, swinging around carefully practising combos, trying to find my foxy friend as steep paths apporach leaving me more nervous and tense inside and I later get ready for Titan D: (Course he's nothing when your leveled up more)

  • @MrNicholas1000ism actually I've read on a Sonic website that Eggmanland is really based on Disneyland. That's why it has rollercoasters and ferris wheels.

  • @Renzythegreat91 That is sweeet!!

  • Apotos~ Greece

    Mazuri~ South Africa

    Spagonia~ Italy

    Chunan~ Taiwan

    Holoska~ Russia

    Shamar~ Saudi Arabia

    Empire City~ Tenochtitlan/Aztec city

    Adabat~ Thailand

    Eggmanland~ ...Eggmanland :))

You got most of it right!

  • @Sk8terGaMer89 Actually Mazuri is more like Mali.

  • @artman40 No, i looked it up on Sonic website, it's South Africa. Push off :-D

  • @Sk8terGaMer89 Guess what the clay citadel was based off of.

  • It makes me wonder WHY they even bothered to compose night music because they put in so much enemies most of the time you only hear the battle theme.

T ~ T Sega if you are going to revamp this game, take out the battle theme!

  • This is like a walk in the city at night. The Werehog stages are more of scenery and exploration and Day Stages are just quick runs by everything in my opinion.

  • I love this theme

  • it's like secret agent music!

  • I love this music, I can feel the night when hearing to it yeah~~~

  • What music genre is this? Jazz?

  • @PrinceLudwigvonKoopa its "soul" music

  • @ninjatuna777 Oh thanks :D

  • This music reminds me of Ratchet & Clank for some reason.

  • elavator music am i right XD

  • Ps2: Sucked

    Wii: Sucked

    Xbox: Perfect!

  • @MilesTailsPrower2008 U forgot ps3 :P Or do u not have it? (jus a question)

  • @ghosttrainer12 Never knew it was on Ps3 might check it out thanks for telling me.

  • Cool Song!

  • I know I'm going to annoy some people with this, but I really liked the Werehog stages. While the Sonic stages were awesome during the day as adrenaline builders, the Werehog had some nice variety, and along with the music slowed the game down nicely. I know Sonic is about speed, but that doesn't mean this isn't a good genre. Anyone else agree with me?

  • @MakutaDreadscythe Me, I REALLY enjoyed the Werehog stages as much as I enjoyed Sonic stages, they help you relax a bit from all that insane speed and the levels are more about platforms, not just moving to a point of the area. Not to mention the music was really good on nightime stages.

  • @TheAvenger708 you don't know how much I agreed with you with all of those. :)

  • @MakutaDreadscythe

    I know right?

    I liked the nice change

  • @MakutaDreadscythe I actually preferred the Werehog stages if I'm honest. I'm not too keen on fast-paced games to be honest haha.

  • @MakutaDreadscythe I too enjoyed the werehog stages, however, I hated the werehog battle music, I had to download the ost to this game and play it using my dashboard on 360 while doing werehog stages

  • @MakutaDreadscythe I have to agree with you. I've heard a lot of negative comments about this game, mostly about the werehog concept, but I have to disagree. I like smashing the enemies in the face and kicking ass. Even though there are some things I didn't like (the AI of the bees, secret item locations), it still is very fun, and I think more people should enjoy it.

  • @MakutaDreadscythe

I think i agree with you. these was one point when i played this game i only wanted to play werehog levels because of the fighting.

  • @MakutaDreadscythe i totally agree with you. I loved the werehog stages. i thought they were a great change to the fast paced stages

  • @MakutaDreadscythe I agree completely. The Day Stages were good, but I far preferred the Night Stages... mostly because I've always been more of a slower, platformer gaming buff than the speedy moving forward type Sonic is.

  • @MakutaDreadscythe I agree. Although I wish they had put the werehog stages in a seperate category similar to SA2's Hero and Dark Side Stories so you could choose what style you wanted to play at any given time. The Werehog stages provided thinking problems to get around along with relaxing music to help soothe any frustrations. It was a nice addition to the Sonic The Hedgehog series and I hope they will bring it back.

  • Comment removed

  • @MakutaDreadscythe kinda but the music is AWSOME!

  • @MakutaDreadscythe I didn't mind the Werehog stages either, but sonic fans wanted sonic to run...I personally think this makes sonic a bit better, it shows that he doesn't run away from problems, he just faces them head-on, unless it's Amy of course, lol

  • @MakutaDreadscythe I like RPGs too, so the level-up system was a very refreshing touch to the game.

  • Late reply but I also enjoy it speeding threw the stage is fun but taking it easy and going berserk on your enemy is also fun.

  • @MakutaDreadscythe I totally agree! People kept saying that the Werehog stages were horrible, but I liked that the levels gave off more of a Prince of Persia vibe. Plus, I liked Sonic being strong and having fluffy and stretchy arms.

  • @MakutaDreadscythe The thing that fans don't realize is that while speed is a trademark of Sonic, it's not the only thing Sonic is about. Sonic the Hedgehog as a series has always been more than just speed. Platforming played a part, the SA games had side characters and gimmicks for their gameplay and the Gimmick era as I call it (Heroes-Black Knight) always had something new that didn't take out the speed. The day stages had speed, the Night stages had variety for example. The Werehog is good.

  • @MakutaDreadscythe I agree with you, Werehog is amazing, actually, Werehog is kinda better than Sonic, his songs are awesome (I love jazz and orchestra), Werehog looks cooler than Sonic, Werehog is stronger than Sonic, Werehog's story is epic, I just love Werehog, is kinda unforgettable to me!

  • @ridingwithsonic thanks

  • CapellAya thank you

  • Sounds like a song you'd heear in a Rouge stage (SA2 wise)

  • Walking along a empty street in Spain at night, yeah baby.

  • My favorite song in the whole game.

  • Apotos is an awesome sea port town... :)

  • Best track from a modern sonic game I've heard in a while.

  • I would say Holoska is closer to Alaska than Antartica or the North Pole.

  • @goldw1993 But from what I've seen in the videos it has penguins.

  • ^____________________________^<3 <3 <3

  • it sounded like jazz at night in the game and that was pretty cool with the cars passing by below and i played it at night to so it was more jazzy

  • i freekin wish every night level had its own signature battle theme song. the only time the battle theme fits is when you are in shamar, other than that it can get very annoying

  • apotos:Greece

    mazuri:africa

    spagonia:france/italy

    chunan:china

    holoska:Antarctica

    Shamar:Saudi Arabia

Empire city: America's new york city

Adabat: Thialand(Idont think i spelled it wright)

    Eggmanland: Eggmanland

  • @sonicsd1 lol eggmanland;eggmanland

  • @sonicsd1 Thailand

  • @sonicsd1 USA has been lately called by presidents(such as Hugo Chavez) an "empire"... do not you think maybe the Empire City=New York(USA) has a connection...?

  • @sonicsd1 we have similar comparisons; however, i like to think of holoska more like russia instead of antarctica

  • @sonicsd1 Adabat is more or less Southeast Asia because the Maldives and Indoesia and yes, Thailand too, are exotic places. It really is a beautiful place! You might like to visit it sometime. :)

  • @sonicsd1 Spagonia is more Italy than it is France

  • @sonicsd1 Eggmanland- Soviet Russia

  • @sonicsd1 I think Holoska is Alaska not Antarctica. And it's spelled Thailand, no biggie though.

  • @Yabanko I heard Holoska was the Netherlands or Sweden. One of the snowy European countries I know...

  • @Yabanko Thumbs up for respectful disagreement; a rarity on the internet.

  • @Gumby518 Thanks. But to be honest, I think the areas varies. Like it has traits of different countries for where they're located. Like Spagonia, to me, is like a mixture of France, Italy with a little bit of Spain. Adabat is like Hawaii, Thailand, Indonesia, etc. Empire City is an obviously play on New York and America and Mazuri are the more tribal areas of Africa like in Kenya, or Guyana. I think they tried to just smoosh the whole work into several locations lol

  • @sonicsd1 I would like to add that the clock tower in Spagonia looks a bit like Big Ben, but I totally agree with the countries :D

  • @sonicsd1 Actually Spagonia is a mix of Italy/London, that's why in the Wii version of this game they put "Baker Street" Which is an actual street in London. ;)

  • @sonicsd1 To be more specific on Apotos, it's based off the Island Mykonos, which is known for its numerous windmills, which are seen in the game, hence the Act name, "Windmill Isle"

  • @DarkDialga960 i can see the connection... even on teh Wii version the designers made it look extremely close!

  • @sonicsd1 Adabat seems more like South America or the Phillipines

  • @sonicsd1 i thought eggman land was canada XD

  • Comment removed

  • @sonicsd1

    Holoska= Alaska

    Spagonia=Spain

    just a lil correction

  • @sonicsd1 holoskas in russia bro.

  • @sonicsd1 Holoska is based on North Pole, not on South Pole...

  • I LOVE night time more than daytime

  • I love this!!!!!!!!! :3

  • This song reminds me of rouge the bat... swift and mysterious

  • @crystalrain12 dont all of the night themes do

  • This music sounds like the boardwalk area in Rocket Robot on Wheels!

  • Sounds casually calm. Love it!

  • tell me if this is right (if one is, then just correct me on it)

    Apotos:Greek Islands

    Spagonia:Italy

    Holoska:Antarctica

    Chun-Nan:China

    Mazuri:Africa

    Adabat:Indonesia

    Shamar:The Middle East

    Eggmanland:Hell (IMO)

  • @lastblade3 Empire City :USA/New York lol

  • @Dario36514 yeah, i forgot that one xD

  • @lastblade3 I would say Holoska is more like Inuit canada(northwest territories), and Adabat is more Cambodia/Thailand.

    /agree with eggmanland lol.

  • The night stages on apotos and spagonia looked gorgeous.

  • This feels like i'm a secret agent sneaking around in the enemy base in the middle of the night.

  • i love this song is unleashed the best

  • this is why i wanna go to china one day, the quiet planes and water falls are so peaceful :D

  • @3102485 this is greece...

  • @Shadowtheglitchhog i'm talking about the games music of china (Chun-nan) XD

  • @3102485 kk

  • Ratchet: ahhh, what a nice, calm day.

Sonic: hey, Ratchet nice to see you but. your in the wrong game.

Ratchet: well... i'll guess i'll stay in a hotel then until clank comes back.

  • So relaxing jazz-song! x)

  • For some strange reason, whenever I here this, I get this vibe to walk out under the full moon. AAARRROOO!

  • @MrSonicBOOOOOM yeah me too. well sometimes that is XD

  • Can someone mix this with Banana Zoo from Class of 3000

  • OSSIM

  • Wish I lived in a place like this. (Greece)

  • @pingasluigi25 mee too

  • @pingasluigi25 so if apatos is greece, then somebody please tell me if spagonia is either italy or france !! (mabye even italance or fritaly) ^__^

  • @Epicfail90001 i think

    mazuri - africa

    holaska- alaska (obviously)

    apotos- europe

    chun-nan- china

    adabat- indonesia

    empire city- new york

spongonia- france ( because i thought i saw something close to the eiffel tower)

  • @PikachuBen close. I think Apotos was a play on a Greek port town. the name sounds Greek, and it looks like that type of area.

  • @PikachuBen i think that spatagonia is itaian, and atapos is more dutch like, just my opinion.

  • @shadyguy999 apotos is the greek islands.

  • @PikachuBen lol U Got All Right

  • @Epicfail90001 i think its itallian, just has that feel to me.

  • i love the night stages :) they are actually fun(y) The ps2 verision isn't that quite good compared to the hd verisons

  • I Love Both Day and Night stages f**k the others, they hate it because they suck at the game, which should only take nothing but a good 10-15 minutes to beat.

  • and mazuri is kenya

and adabat is bahama or carribean

    and spagonia is france

    and apotos is greece

    empire city is new york

and chun nan is basicly china

sry if there is any spelling mistakes

  • @sonicploman adabat is not bahamas its thailand in southeast asia

  • shar is suadi arabia

  • Love this tune, it has a great melody

  • Luv the lilacy moonlit white safe stone streets and paths, against the sea. And one of my fave places in the game is this at act 3, the hill eneath starry skies. The shooting stars, grass, music, butterflys everywhere and pollen lowing in the breeze, the white stone paths, the peaceful safe quietness of it, wonderful design

  • do you hav wii version

  • Yeah, is that place not in the others? Or not the same at least

  • Were-Sonic: *Right before stage starts* HAAAH!!

  • duh its based of Mykonos

  • A nice tune for Apotos at night but what is the earth equivalent of Apotos? I mean, Chun-nan is china, Spagonia is france, and Mazuri is africa, but what's Apotos' equivalent?

  • Judging by the name I'd say Greece, by the pictures I've seen of it I'd say somewhere in the Middle East. (I haven't played the game though)

  • In game, Apotos has a seaside feel to it. The buildings are mainly white and blue and there are alot of curves on the buildings. The citizens are all sailor types. It's practically a port city of somekind.

  • @TKGB2006

Apotos is set in Greece, the design for the white and blue buildings comes from a neighbourhood in one of it`s cities.

  • Ah, so it was Greece.

    Thanks for answering coolbones.

  • Spain or Italy. So similar.

  • I'd say greece too, the white stone buildings and all

  • Empire city is equivalent to New York you cant lie

  • This is Apotos you know.

  • i just feel like that i am at a cafe and the music is playing and me and sonic are talking with some coffe on the table

Great song such a Great song BRAVO SEGA BRAVO!

  • I think this is the best night song, the othrs dont really have a good tune :(

  • This music makes me feel oddly relaxed.

Yep, nothing to worry about, just taking a stroll at night, enjoying a nice cup of tea, having a nice chat with my flying fur-ball friend Chip here, taking on the beautiful sights and beating the hell out of cosmic horrors with mah GIANT FLAILING FISTS OF WERE-HOG FURY!!!(TM)

    Just chilling.

  • This music, in my opinion, feels lonesome, especially during the night. Dunno why I think of that.........

  • i have this song in my ipod. and i listen to it on my nightly strolls around the neighbor hood or the park. its soooo relaxing XD

  • Where'd you download this song? Cos I'm looking for it for xmas.

  • my friend found it for me. so i really don't know. u can try i-tunes. if i do find u will be the first person to know

  • Thnx very much! :-)

  • Sega did a real good job with the music in the game. Every stage, day and night, had music that fit it perfectly. Sega got everything right with Unleashed in my opinion.
