I never really liked excel because it seemed way too complicated to get through quickly like with Word or Powerpoint. This though, has given me some hope for using it in my future. Although, the guy in the video did creep me out what with his no blinking and no emotion.
Thank u so much for that easy lesson, I live in Shreveport,La and I applied for a Adminstrative Clerk position and the secretary, told me to come back and take the Microsoft office 2010 and I was in shock because this state is only on Microsoft 2007,
And I went to the libery to see if I could find anthing on it and they only had Microsoft 2009, so if found what I was looking for on Youtube and I have to say I am very impress with this one. Hope make more Youtube video.
Wouldn't it be great if they roped off the area so random people do not go strolling by in the passegeways and distract from the already monotone speeches (see Paul Cannon)? What bad commercials. These guys seem so tired then people walk by with coffee in their hand. At least it brings a smile to the speakers here (see Paul).
Microsoft is too monopolistic. The law has owed too long ago to extend some of microsoft licenses to the public usage (e.g. usage of formats etc.) in order other companies could create competitive programs more convenient for final users. Many functions could be installed in Quick access toolbar in stead of the massive one in 2010. And Microsoft could develop his raw system DOS just after cooperation with CIA when the computers were supplied with his system in spite of more prospective ones...
First, I didn't blink while watching the entire video either, second, the guy could have blinked while they were showing you the screen previews. I don't find it creepy at all.
bloody hell, this guy didn't even blink in the entire video.. Anyway MS suck, i have to use MS office because there is no other better choice. Wait look at that massive menu bar.... o.0
@FortitudeOfHeaven HA HA HA HA!! That IS funny. I think they are all tired or on meth. They are good readers but not very good speakers. Perhaps it would help if they use their wares....such as Power point to make their point.
@FortitudeOfHeaven Asian cultures discourage individual emotional expression. And languages like Chinese are monosyllabic "tone" and "pitch" languages, where varying tone and pitch changes meaning. Most people speaking foreign languages (as here, Asian to English) transfer some of the traits of their native language (as, tone; and, for example for Chinese, transposition of "l" and "r" sounds). Thus a native Chinese speaker speaking English can (to native English speakers) sound monotonous.
@FortitudeOfHeaven Just because someone does not act all animated and hyper doesn't mean they're robots! He's just not blessed in the public speaking department but I'm sure he makes up for it by being very intelligent and tech savvy. That's why we don't see many computer geeks hosting a talk show nor do we often see any infomercial host offering sound advice on technologies and computers. People are different all over, learn to be more tolerant.
Wrong...I use Excel for all of my finances at home. I use it to calculate loans, track my expenses...etc. I have both 2007 and 2010 Beta installed...2010 has improved much since 2007 and I, the home user, have noticed all the major changes.
Lets say you have a typical Microsoft excel sheet and on the bottom you have standard table. You have 5 rows vertically on the left of job codes, like (1-engineering) (2-coordinating) (3-support) (etc). And five columns horizontal on top of building floors, like (1st floor) (2nd floor) (3rd floor) (etc). And above that whole table you have a simple time sheet layout consisting of 4 cells running horizontal as follows Date , floor level , job code, and hours ,

I never really used excel much compared to word or powerpoint. However, it does seem like a very useful tool when working with a lot of data.
ca0dayea12 7 months ago
@ca0dayea12 actually, excel is not very useful if you're working with really large datasets, it's kind of slow, especially for visualization purposes

Wow. I can definitely tell that the Microsoft really has greatly improved its function
