Its sad that youre downvoted for this. She namedrops 50 different diets, but never mentions seeking out an understanding of nutrition, tracking her food intake, creating a caloric deficit, and/or attempting cardio. So she's taking the stupid way out and will still be ignorant of nutrition. it's sad... =[
obviously you have no weight issues. I struggle and have struggled with my weight for many years and I had lap band surgery a week ago. I HAVE tried the nutrition and the cardio, but when your large and your knees and ankles hurt you can't get very far. So I have to disagree that it's the stupid way out. You should really not judge someone until you walk in THEIR shoes!!!
I don't have weight issues anymore, no. However, I was obese from middle school until graduating college (3 years ago), when I peaked around 260lbs. At that time I decided to correct myself -- studying nutrition, exercising, and now weight lifting. Now that I'm down to ~150lbs, I consider the nutritional information invaluable to maintaining a healthy weight. I stand by my previous statement still -- fad diets and/or surgery is no substitute for education and hard work.
Just because studying nutrition and exercise worked for you, it doesn't mean that it will work for everyone. I've had lapband surgery and believe me, it is NOT a stupid way out OR an easy way out. It's a last resort for those who have tried everything else and failed. Lapband is a tool, not a quick-fix. You should educate yourself on lapband surgery and all that it involves and speak to some bariatric patients. Maybe then you'll have more compassion and less criticism.

why don't you stop eating? instead of eating 20lbs of food why don't you eat 5 lbs for the whole day?
