last thing, olaf is really diverse. you should change your skill order and your item build to your game. i probably would have maxed my q first in this game. with both of them having range and using it to damage you and creeps, the range damage would more likely set up ganking chances for you and your team on top of better farm. i would also recommend a little bit of life steal no matter when style you're playing as olaf

ok, i know its an older game so you've probably heard all of this before but you kindof asked for feedback and im just going to make sure you get it. the fight at 4:50 you could have lived if you used your w sooner. also if your opponents are going to just fight you face to face, throw your ax right on top of them. you can just take one step and use it again, more damage for no real cost.

also at 6:13 you should have used your cd's sooner, right when he comes in you should have ghosted and ultid

Brotip to fellow Brolafs. Never buy Last Whisper, though yes it does look like a good deal, you will be better off with a Yuumous Ghostblade which synergizes with Ragnarok like a hotdog with mustard. Also get Vicious Strikes at level 1 and max it last. You will need it for earlygame survivability after that alternate between Undertow and Reckless Swing.

Awesome commentary! But just a little tip. In lanes, you should either grab Mercury's Treads against AP Champions. Against AD champs you should go with Ninja Tabi to get ,more survivability at the start! And really, With AP runes it does compensate the loss from Berskerker's Greaves. Also, You should grav Stark's Farvor before Warmog's Armor to help your team out during the firsts Teamfights. :) Just a tip!

Q will be your starting ability, follow by your vicious strikes, do some reckless strikes and spam Q as soon as it's CD is over, this way you can keep hitting anything. if riot want to make olaf op, they must give his an stun ability... XD :)

masteries for this build is pure fighter theme: 9 21 0, getting max durability from defence while getting 10% armor and magic penetration. Olaf becomes very tanky, spells that are best with this build : heal and cleanse. tank spells, i know but when ults is on CD you can still escape any cc during that period. The only thing is that you MUST hit something to survive, target highest hp champs first as you will get most healing from them

i have found an alternative build for olaf, increasing his durabilty with less hp.

items: madred's bloodrazor, hextech gunblade, force of nature, thornmail, spirit visage and beserker's greaves. the reason why i take hextech gunblade is because the magical damage caused by madred's included in the spell vamp. the only 'downside' is that you got no benefit with AP, but when you got ult + 100 hpregen, 120 armor and magic resist, pass and vicious strikes it doesn't matter...

Its close to my build. But not that much. I start with eather Doran's ring or most of the time i play jungle olaf so i start with Cloth Armor and 3 health potions. After that i get the free ward and frozen mullet>Warmogs>Atma>Stark's favor>Sell Ward and take Guardian Angel,Phantom Dancer or Bloodthrister. That way i have one hell of survivability and lifesteal. The damage is off the line. Many guys says that i must buy Last Wisper. But i personaly think its not needed with 55 armor pen

this is soo noobish, ok u can rush mallet because you do enough damage early with a maxed E, but a warmogs is just the overkill. the main problem with so much hp is, that olafs survivability heavily depends on his lifesteal. warmogs = more gold spent on hp than necessary = less damage = less life stolen = your lifesteal will be pitiful compared to how much max hp u have. get my point?

dont really like warmog on olaf, mainly cause with frozen mallet you are going to get 3k hp anyway. I tryed a build with infinity edge,black cleaver. Reaching a 75% crit change and doing massive damage even to tankish enemy (passive of the ulti, Armor pen runes and cleaver)

Hmmm, with laning Olaf I go for dorans blade -> berserk boots -> atma/warmog depending how well im doing (warmog when doing poorly) -> atma/warmog -> nature's force. This means endgame you get 120/120 defenses on 3.7K health. Nice finishers are starks or infinity's edge, but im not bragging when I say the game should be over when you get nature's force. (Btw before raging on my build :P, tell me what could be bad about it, regarding frozen mallet, i just get red when i need it)

I'd like to add, that if you're building a tank, it'd also build your Olaf into a damage machine through your W (damage that increases through your health, so more health = more DMG) + your E which ignores every single defensive stat of your opponent so yeah...
