I've seen that ending since I was a kid back when that show aired on WNEW-TV (channel 5), it had the ITC logo shown right before the spinning ITC logo appeared. When Disney owns the Muppets, they started plastering them and putting them out on DVD. Too bad, the original ending with the ITC thing was never put out on DVD.

@HomeoftheGoodGuys Actually, the ITC ending WAS released on DVD, but not in the US. They only used it for the German version of the Season 1 DVD on disc 1 and the episode with Peter Ustinov on disc 4.

@TheRoadRunnerCoyote According to the copyright shown was Independent Television Corp. which was still Incorporated Television Corp. I don't know the difference between Independent or Incorporated.

@HomeoftheGoodGuys Not really. The ITC stuff was removed since Henson took over the rights of the show. I saw it in syndication in about '86-'87, but it wasn't with TNT, Nick or Disney's distribution. (and I say for the better, that logo scares the heck out of me, but as long as we keep Zoot...)

But if I were on that show, I would received a Muppet likeness of Buzz Lightyear, I hope you know who Buzz Lightyear is.

In the UK, you can only see the ATV logo during Zoot's shot.

@TheRoadRunnerCoyote yes, and here in the US, the ATV logo wasn't displayed; it was only the ITC with Zoot. it appeared off to the side. then the ITC spinner at the end of the show (and at the beginning)

Originally in the UK would the ITC logo have been shown or would we have just seen the ATV logo at the end?
