I love this video, The wisdom of these men, in that period of time, is AWESOME, everything they say makes since as much today as back then..TO bad the leaders we have to pick from now forgot this wisdom, and, or abuse it...The only thing I see is we had to intervene in European affairs in world war 1 & 2....but these words are amazeing!!

The other is Switzerland.

The founding fathers learned a critic's version of what confounded Athens. They based their criticism on inaccurate info.

James Madison. Sums up the fight against terror. Americans think the government will protect them against terror but it is the government that needs to be fought. Government is using terror to mask its intentions against the people. Lets read history and the words of our founders. Lets not fall victim to our own government.

People especially need to research the roots behind the second amendment. If we can't raise a force through our states at least equivalent to the Federal Government we cannot be the masters. Those with the big guns always decide for those who are unarmed/weaker. There was a time when all the states understood this.

Honestly, if you said the word democracy to the founding fathers it carried to same weight as saying communism during the red scare. They never advocated democracy, they instead went for a republic.

@laxguy22655 Democracy is a middle phase between a republic and an oligarchy (what we have now undoubtedly) This is the hidden truth. A republic is the rule of law period. The written constitution followed like it should be so the government leaves the people alone and everyone is free. (no force) This is not the case by a majority vote the government has taken nearly all of our protected liberties and freedoms away. At this point the vote is useless they have all power.
