I used to live in Chagrin up until I was 7 (the year 2000). My street was off the road this hill was on, so we sometimes hid our pumpkins so the high school students couldn't steal them haha. It looks like fun, though :)

Those various methods you mention mainly include stealing them in the night, which just happened to me, so if you think you are being cute by stealing other poeple's expensive pumpkins, your not.
