as far as i know na maraming mga schools na ginagaya ang choreography ng carmen kasi maganda at malinis ang concept,pati mga bata madali makakaintindi sa concept nila,like taga BATANGAS na ginaya nila ito during sa school presentation nila and other related school activities.

i think dinagyang is the best festival in the philippines. im from manila and ive been to masskara(bacolod) and sinulog(cebu) but i think dinagyang(iloilo) ranks first? Ay mali pala. sinulog pala kasi sila ang 3 times grandslam hall of famer,world class na sila, second is masskara, both have cultural linkages.. dinagyang is only street dancing to pop musics and parang warshock dancers covered by aspalt and grease nakipag away ng judge pag natalo. ay nakakahiya. dats only my opinion...

as far as i know na maraming mga schools na ginagaya ang choreography ng carmen kasi maganda at malinis ang concept,pati mga bata madali makakaintindi sa concept nila,like taga BATANGAS na ginaya nila ito during sa school presentation nila and other related school activities.

cebu is undeniably the number 1 province in the philppines. iloilo is just far 2nd to cebu here in the visayas region. even cities in mindanao are surpassing iloilo in terms of economy. hahahah. the fall of iloilo seems to be concistent.

CEBU has proven its worth and rightfulness in claiming SINULOG as the MOTHER OF ALL FESTIVALS being the first HALL OF FAMER & 3x CONSECUTIVE CHAMPION in ALIWAN. I send my regards to all the participating CONTINGENTS. Just remain humble and wait for the contest dont be too much confident coz u might eat ur words again. Iloilo Dinagyang Festival will be represented by this years Champion, Tribu Paghidaet. Do you have any idea as to who will be representing the Cebu Sinulog Festival? Since Lumad Basakanon will be elevated to the Hall of Fame status, it is just obvious that they will be sending the new tribe for this years contest.

The title BEST TOURISM EVENT was just given by a few group of people from ATOP, it is even not a GOV'T INSTITUTION, just a group of TOURISM OFFICERS which numbers can only be counted by my fingers in my hands & feet.The real catch of the game is the response of TOURIST & SPECTATORS alike who wants to witnes the FESTIVAL after all its about TOURISM. Aparently SINULOG doesnt have the TITLE but still ATTRACTED 2 MILLION LOCAL & FOREIGN TOURISTS. So from that we all know the truth & not just a titlE

SINULOG FINALE is already set and ready! Last night i was at ABELLANA STADUIM and i saw at least 250 performers rehearsing for 2 MILLION polynesian themed finale together with the WOMAN of the EARTH a true blue cebuana herself the 2008 MS. Earth MS. KARLA PAULA HENRY as the lead dancer & bearer of the miracolous image of sto nino. The production is amazing there is a life size waterfalls and a canoe running into it right in the stage!It would be the best finale ever! Viva sr. sto nino PIT SENOR!

i think dinagyang is the best festival in the philippines. im from manila and ive been to masskara(bacolod) and sinulog(cebu) but i think dinagyang(iloilo) ranks first? Ay mali pala. sinulog pala kasi sila ang 3 times grandslam hall of famer,world class na sila, second is masskara, both have cultural linkages.. dinagyang is only street dancing to pop musics and parang warshock dancers covered by aspalt and grease nakipag away ng judge pag natalo. ay nakakahiya. dats only my opinion...

DGL breezes through Bacolod Quick 8
NO WARM body yet can beat David G. Lim (DGL) at the race track.
The ace Cebuano driver added yet another trophy to his victory shelves after ruling the Quick 8 title in the Palumba sa Maskara 2008 in Bacolod City last Oct. 11 and 12.
Lims Mitsubishi Evolution 9.5 recorded the fastest time in the track at 10.03 seconds to win the prestigious Quick 8 title in the Automobile Association of the Philippines (AAP) race.

It was a really good show, and organizers didnt expect to hve a HUGE OUTCOME of SPECTATORS frm all over the provnce & nearby islands. LOCAL & NATIONAL press as well as FOREIGNER GUESTS flock to CICC just to witness the BEST OF CEBU. Judges really had a difficult time in deciding for the winners, it was a tight comptition
