Final fantasy x starts with Tidus at the zanarkand ruins and now the story ends with Yuna in the same spot in zanarkand. They didn't need to kiss to make the moment perfect, just watching both of them together shows how much they love eachother. Cherish me yuna and I'll cherish you.
I think this ending is very beautiful even if it's not in CGI. Plus with the ending scene at Zanarkand, I also thought its very fitting too..sort of a like a foil to the beginning of FFX where Tidus stood watching the pyreflies...I kind of hoped that they would kiss, but I think how they talked and embraced each other seems more emotional to kissing, whereas that would just be romantic..
You know, for all thew work you have to put in to get this ending, I kind of wanted to see something that blew everyone out of the water. Like say if they had fast forwarded to where Yuna and Tidus were getting married, or to a point where Yunie's pregnant and Tidus is cuddling up with her. That would have been so sweet to end the game on.
@theangelkap you REALLY have to use a strategy guide if you want this ending. There's stuff in the back of the guide that would help you, but there's also stuff within that you have to read. I.E. you cant skip any of the dialogue. That includes clicking "x" while someone is talking. etc. etc.

You know like "side mission" if you complete all of them you would get the scene in besaid and the scene in zanarkand. If you do some of them (there are certain ones) then you get the besaid scene. If you hardly do any of them or the required one you get to see tidus behind yuna. If you can't defeat vegna gun then the whole Grassland goes BOOM! xD

I thing the 'good' enging was better. I thought this was kinda cheesey in a way but I love it cause Tidus is now real as ever and he can finally be with Yuna! And if I had my choice, I would make a 3rd game to this series!
