Look into the hidden teachings of Jesus! Towards the end of His ministry, He was teaching complete NON-VIOLENCE, doing away with sacrafices, and ENDING the eating of meat entirely!!! Most people don't know this!!!
it just blows my mind how some christians can be so selfish to care about people, but what about the animals, factory farms, animal abuse with cruel owners, puppy mills, sick,demented cruely in china and japan and other countries to animals. God is a God of love and i believe He loves the animals, and when we are not kind to them, its not of God!
finally, something spoken in defense of animals, especially to christians, a lot who really don't give a hoot about a animals suffering. i am a christian and have always loved animals and it really pisses me off that people especially christians do not realize that God Loves Animals and doesnt wants us to be cruel to them or hurt them.
