In response to ShakirafanWENDY: I am unsure about proffesional levels, but in the lower levels we do a jump to the left if we are right handed and to the left when we are left handed. It all depends on what is easier and what leading foot is better. Same goes for spins. Lefties spin on their right foot in a clockwise direction, and vice versa.

many (if not all) of the skaters out there today were the "little girls" when this video was posted in 2006... I <3 Slutskaya the most for her long fight against Vasculities, but the 4 of them were truly amazing skaters

I love Sasha's circular footwork in her Romeo and Juliet program. <3

Everything seems to come so easy to her, that spiral position especially. She doesn't need to work into it or anything, it's just there. No one could match her as far as body line, her technique was the best out there, and she had such charisma. Simply a wonderful skater to watch.

I always felt that Kwan often got inflated scores when she was not the best on the day. Karma is why she never won Olympic gold. I also think she is a bit of a phony, though she IS a great skater.

I have been skating for two years and I'm working on my double salkow. All I know is salkows are easier than axcels. That rotation in the begining of the salko helps you get the height and some how easier with the resolutions
