Oh, yes, the educational system is faulty. From what I learned, kids in US get to choose their own classes even from 5th grade. So it's like they specialize ever since they are really young. Instead of getting vast knowledge, they choose the easy classes and go with those. I might be mistaken but, from what I know this is how the schooling system works. Besides, in US, students learn in high-school what I learned in gymnasium.

They can choose certain classes over others, but they still have to take core classes. IMHO, they're too intent on passing as many children as possible instead of making sure they've learned all they need to know. Same here, though I'm also seeing more wake up -- they will soon. As of now, most are occupied by consumerism and fake happiness that they buy at Wal Mart.

Research everything you hear. Find out what is true and what is false, and THEN make decisions. If you make a decision because your religion says so, or because your parents raised you that way, or your party supports it or a friend told you then you didn't really make a decision. You let someone else do it for you. And that goes for everyone who takes those foregone conclusions and uses confirmation bias to reassure themselves that they're right!

Conceded. The degree to which you scrutinize a belief should also depend on how high an impact that belief would have on your life. For example, if I'm wrong about which way is the best way to stand while in an elevator, it's not such a big deal- I, like most other people, don't give it much thought. If someone wants me to believe their religion, or their political beliefs, or that a certain way of life is best for me and I should change, then they better have LOTS of evidence.

I wish it was intentional. If it was, we could just pull all those responsible out onto the streets and have them removed from power or something. However, I think that a lot of this is just society as a whole adapting to itself. Until we have a society full of individualists, they will be the shepherds, we will be sheep, and ubermensch will be regarded as wolves.

I think this vid. may be quite correct in that what the state sees as disaster (tottle disruption of power), will be required for the citizenry to wake up. I don't know if widespred awakening will be possible while the machene is functioning.
