Hello, I am a Registered Nurse in Arkansas. I want to become a medical esthetician but I cannot find a medical esthetician school in Arkansas. Do you have any comment/feedback on the Victoria Rayner's Distance Learning Program?

@blpettus I will have to check that program out, because I have never heard of it. If you are an Registered Nurse all you have to do is go to school to become and Esthetician. Your RN status already qualifies you as a "medical esthetician" . All you need to learn are the techniques and procedures and machines of esthetics and obtain your esthetics licenses. I was watching you video which told me about the various positions that an Esthetician can persue. One of them was called "Reacher." Can you elaborate on what that is exactly?

@noni620 Manufactures are constantly competing with one another to produce safer and more effective consumer products. Research directors or assistants run laboratory test to determine the safety of products before the company distributes them. Researchers may also conduct consumers surveys. If you have a background in science there are many jobs out there. Some of these jobs you will need more education is science, chemistry etc, but others you can get on the job training.

hi, i have a question for you. i am a college student and i have the summer off. i cant decide whether to take up estitician school or cosmetology (hair) school.

i like the idea of estitician but i dont know if i should just do hair for the fun of it.

what would you chose? and what if skin (extraction) grosses me out a little bit?

@ssips720 @ssips720 I think you should do what you think would make you the happiest or what you are MOST interested in. Both cosmetology and esthetic's are great fields to go in, but the extractions separate the hair goddesses from the skin goddesses.  Trust me I have seen some pretty gross stuff when extracting. If you can't stand it then hair is your best option.

Im in the process of figuring out what school i will be attending for my esthetician program and i love ur video, im still kinda confused on which type of esthetician i want to become, a results aesthetician or a feel good aesthetician lol, i live in florida and don't know which one will be more lucrative. any suggestions?

i just applyed to go to school at blonche macdonal and my spa estition course is going to run me $12000 do you think that is to much. It is a very well known school in vancouver. Do you have any ideas maybe for some school or do you think its really worth it?
