you can find alcohol and borax in a grocery easily, you only say, please can you give me some borax and alcohol, and they gie that to you, it is easy!

I was involved in low-budget movies. We made "monster drool" slime by mixing veterinary lubricants, and corn starch.

J-Lube [10oz. @ $12] and "General Lube (Priority Care gp Lube)" [1gallon @ $14] mixed with warm water, and corn starch to thicken. (If necessary.) Enough to make 10 gallons or so, of slime. (Actress safe, non-toxic.)

Add food coloring, mashed potato flakes, instant coffee, baked beans, cooked noodles, etc. for more FXs.

Google, "veterinary lubricants". You'll find everything.
