I just want to say I'm grateful for having lived as a teen and young man during the rock era, and still going strong today at 54, to enjoy the technology that brings all those great performances to my 23 inch monitor and speakers today. The only pity is that MTV didn't start fifteen years sooner than they did. But then again, MTV was the beginning of the end. Rock bands began putting more emphasis and imagination into the video's rather than the lyrics. It took awhile for music to implode!
