Today is National Roof Over Your head Day and I'm asking all of you to contribute to homeless shelters in your hometowns. This is the real meaning of both Hanukkah and Christmas and assitance to homeless people will be greatly appreciated..
IIRC 9th December 1976. Repeated on EinsFestival recently again, also now they are going to show the uncut version of 23/12/1976 with this cheesy outro of this song.
What I like the most about the Jethro Tull Christmas CD is that its really good Christmas music that doesn't entirely center on Jesus/other Christian themes. This song is the perfect example.
lol - just actually heard this song on the previous christmas day and i was mixed between - freaked out by his excentric moves and enjoying the awesome / funny song.
THis is immense, good tune and sounds more christmas to me than most of the shit i hear in this generation - oh yeh and i noticed his lips seemed out of sound lol (miming :P)
I remember being quite pleased to see how crap Ian was at miming, because I first saw this vid the night before I went to my first Tull gig. When you consider how much miming was done in those days it was encouraging to see somebody who got so little practice at it that he was crap.
btw it's Solstice not Soltice

What gets me is the "70's vision" Just because those effects are possible doesn't mean you should do them.
