@carrolj5 Yes, you can kayak from Beaver Lake to Lake Superior but be prepared to walk in the creek at times to drag your kayaks over a few shallow shoals and small logs. Also, just before you get to Lake Superior there is a huge log jam that has been there for decades. You will have to portage around it, but there is a trail so you don't have to scramble over the logs. We put in at the launch at the end of Little Beaver Lake Road.
You may not know the answer to this but, Is it possible to kayak from Beaver Lake out to Lake Superior? Were trying to find a new place to park our vehicles.
Magnificent....I sat here on my back porch amazed...lived there for twenty years and never saw things that way; always from the tour boats. Thanks for a great 10 minutes of memories.
Wow! That is awesome. I think I asked you this before - was this filmed with a GoPro cam?
What kind of kayak do you have? How long is it? Looks like it's good for touring in rough conditions. I've been thinking about getting a newer/lighter one.
Thanks! Yes, all footage was shot with a GoProCamera wrist camera. My kayak is a Valley Aquanaut sea kayak. 17-1/2 ft. length, excellent in rough conditions.
