@babasutra The first song starting at 1:43 is called "Ferryboat Serenade" sung by The Andrews Sisters (1940) and the one starting at 4:40 is "Ma, She's Making Eyes At Me" played by Kay Kyser & His Kollege of Musical Knowledge" (1942).
