Gratz lol, i never managed to do this on my PS2 when i had it because i thought that you had to play it 24 hours straight, would you me telling me how you can save your progress in between the race?
so if i b spec it and just leave it racing ,,wat happens about tyres ??because i wont be there to change them,,and wat settings do i use on b spec ,,ive never used it ,i dont see the point ,,but come on man ,,u cant sit and race for 24 hours even if it is in stages ,,thats askin well too much ,even 4 the hardcore fan
I agree - I tried b spec and couldn't see the point. Its a bit like being in real car racing and letting somebody else do the driving, while you just sit in the passenger seat. Whats the point? In this case I suppose to complete the game, but there was no satisfaction in that for me. So I did race for 24hours in stages - and I've not played the game much since!
why in the hell would you keep your game on for 9 days? unless it was a spare ps2, i have 3 of them. but when i did the 24h race, i did b spec 3x. and it was boring shit, i had to check back on it maybe every 20 minutes or so to get the tires changed or it would just sit there. plus i was sick with stomach flu so i just wanted to do that.
Im doing it right now, in B0spec, 3x sped up, the time right now is 11 hours, 34 minutes, and 50 seconds in an audi abt touring car tuned, I am 8 laps ahead of the 2nd place due.
You can pause the game whilst you work/sleep etc, but the PS2 has to remain on. If you switch it off its all lost. Mine wasn't damaged - maybe I was lucky!
if u get the red spinning at the end of the race is tha a bad or good thing?

Actualy nevermind, i read the above post, i gotta keep ps2 on throughout lol, oh well i don't have a ps2 anymore anyway

I used a Minolta Toyota and at night while i slept, the b spec modus was activated.
So i started at 12:00 and at next day i woke up and already won the race because I slept until it was 14:00 xD.
Im sorry for my ps2 but its wirth :D

the race would take only about 8.5 hours with a 4.5 million prototype and running the race in b-spec.
