  • What's the 900 like? I have only been on 100's, 200's and 700's.

    loud?

    Comfortable?

  • @AC44Alex similar to the 700, 2 seats each side, but good plane overall I like delta because of the Tvs, never flew Us Air

  • I live in Tucson, going on this flight tomorrow. Its about 5 minutes

  • I love this Video! Its my favorite plane at my favorite airport! And you, mikey69up, do and absolutely splendid job capturing the beauty of flight in this video, and in all your videos! Everybody, if you havn't seen the Alaska Airlines 737-700 in Tucson and landing in Seattle, you need to see it! It's fantastic work. I do have one question though, what seat number were you sitting in on this US Airways flight? I would love to be able to sit in that seat.

  • thanks a bunch matt. i don't have my flight stubs from this one but i'm pretty sure it was either 21F or 22F. depending on the airline it may be an E seat and not an F seat for the right window. mesa i believe goes A-C---D-F where other airlines could go A-B---D-E

  • how long was the flight

  • right around 22 minutes

  • sweet

    i lik tucson

    do you liv there

  • yep

  • cool

  • Nice video, Im currently studying Aerospace engineering, really interesting.

  • im flying on a us airways crj-900 from burbank california to phoenix airzona on oct.3 2008- oct.5 2008!!

  • were the seats on the 900 cloth or leather

  • i believe cloth but it was a long time ago

  • Nice. I miss Plain old America west

  • Tucson is also home to EVERGREEN where chem trails are created to provide millions of new viruses and germs to Americans...

  • and they taste good too!

  • are the seats on the crj 900 cloth or leather

  • Most flights from tucson to phoenix fly an altitude of only 14,000 feet or less!

  • The beeping noise is for the seat belt light on the compartment ceiling next to the "no smoking" sign.

  • Love the video but I wish someone would get a video when jet passess through the two mountain peeks its AWESOME to see

  • Quiet jet!

  • holy crap your in the middle of the desert and its rainy

  • tahts not bad quality love to fly usairways , i mean look at my name lol

  • Excellent take off footage!

  • ok so what is the beeping noise at 4:02.. I've tried figuring it out on every flight but I really don't know any more.

plus, I did this once going from Phoenix to Tucson but in a car.

  • a lot of times the captain will sound the beep, then the flight attendant will call the flightdeck and the captain will let them know if it is time to serve snacks or drinks..

  • The 'beeping noise' or chime is signaled as we pass through 10,000 feet. Means no more sterile cockpit. Time to fire up the iPods and the Flight Attendants can get up and serve and call the cockpit if they want to.

  • That means anybody who's NOT violating federal law and specific crewmember instructions putting other law abiding passengers at risk operating an electronic device below 10,000 feet may NOW use those approved electronic devices.

    DUMAS

  • i don't understand where your going with this.. i have yet to see a digital camera take down an airliner.

  • Going? I'm just talking @ the 10k feet beep and announcement. I'm stating unequivocally a point or too regarding electronic devices on takeoff inside an airliner. More explicitly:

    1. It is a violation of federal law for an airline passenger to operate an electronic device below 10,000 feet. This law exists as an abundance of caution to prevent possible interference with aviation electronics required for safe flight.

    2. This person violated the law.

    3. ...you'd never know would you?

  • what are you the FAA? get over it

  • sigh, a fool and his life are soon separated. Hopefully, he doesn't take too many others with him.... Those darn laws and pesky FAA regulations! Mikey69up knows what's good enough for airline travel. There are so many passengers like you. What's a little 151 Rum in the baggage compartment? Why not put the oxygen generator in,what could happen? Maybe when you've got a loved one on a plane you'll see things my way. Right now it sounds like you're gonna live forever, am I right? I'm over it.

  • you should write a novel about how the government is slowly poisoning you via your frosted cherios. crawl back into your little steril air only bubble and block out the fact that there is more to life than your apparent OCD condition.

  • Just out of curiousity could you provide any stats on major air crashes related to personal electronic devices used in flight. Given the rampant use of such devices there must be several examples you can provide me.

  • There have been no air crashes whatsoever due to the use of electronic devices.

  • A year after the fact but I will chime in anyway as I have just seen this video. There is NO law against "electronic devices" being used on airlines. Only those that emit a signal. Aprroved uses of electronic devices at ANY stage of flight is, of course, pace makers, hearing aids, electric shavers and, and this is very important here, portable video recorders and cameras. Only cell phones are banned and this is at any stage of flight regardless of altitude.

  • Computers or any type of hand held gaming device, CD or DVD players, can be used above 10000'. Flight attendants don't have the time to explain what can and can't be done in every little instance so they say "electronic devices". If they see a cell phone, they will tell you to turn it off. If they see a video camera, they say nothing.

  • not even

you dont hav to turn your fone off.

you can just put it in "airplane mode"

alot of fones have that so you dont even have to shut it off.

But like no radios or anything like that.

    even DVD players are fine

they jus say turn off all electronic devises because they dont wanna pay the money to reserch what elecrtonic devices can be used

jbriggs1966 is rite about what he said too

  • nothing like hearing those engines whine up and down and feeling that pressure!

  • so cool

  • us airways express took off run way 29 right from Tucson airport.

  • Took off from 11L, not 29R.

  • good ol crj-900. Get the engines going and it sounds like a leaf blower

  • That's some rare footage ... rain in Tucson

  • Wow, what a rare video! In all the times I have been to Tucson, it has never rained!

  • what kind of aircraft is it?

  • crj-900

  • Now what day could you possibly have filmed that to where it was THAT cloudy and rainy in Tucson? :D

  • how many minutes was that flight

  • probaly a half an hour or 30 minutes. I was on that flight.

  • how do you know you were on exactly
