im not even a harley fan, but that is a hell of a bike, it would never catch gixer, R1, or a bussa though, stick to smokin the cbrs, but only if they don't know what they're doin, harleys look and sound sweet, but they can never beat out sportbikes in races

The power to weight ratio on this sportster is excellent for a cruiser. 2 friends of mine own CBR's and they both tried a Harley and they were blown away by how much nicer it is to ride a Harley even if it isn't as fast.

I remember in the mid 80's when I rode my V45 Magna. I pulled up to a red light.

A Blue sportster pulled beside me. I looked over and said slight cam!

The rider looked at me with a smile and said yeah "slight"

He asked me if I wanted to go. I said sure why not.

Well the light turned green. All I saw was a blue streak go by me. Smoking the tire through the intersection. The sound was so amazing.

The following summer I purchased a used sportster. Today I drive a 08 Nightster.

I took off my belt guard, looks alot cleaner just a suggestion from one nightster owner to another. Great bike I love it!
