I'm singing this for my High School spring concert, I do agree with "Royalorgans". I'd also suggest possibly trying to have a more equal male to female ratio, it helps. Parts of this song are supposed to give an echo effect, but didn't show very well. All-in-all it was alright, but comming from another High School student, i'd have to say there is room for improvement (Yes, I know this comment is VERY late)

i like this but not the best. For some reason our chorus ( 8th grade) the sopranos are having a hard time coming in at uhm 2:57 it always sound like were scarred to be up in that range its weird cuz it almost sounded like this chorus did it too.. weirrrd.

OMG!! they really suck! the middle school chorus at our school is sooooooooooooooo much better! and we only have like 6 girls! and they get like a bunch of the lyrics wrong and plus the temo is way to fast! that is just HORRIBLE! and they dont even have the harmony in it!

In my opinion I think your concept of having them to sing as one is great but the choir sounds like a middle school choir instead of a High School choir. I would suggest doing beathing exercises for support. Your men sound like they only know how to hit the pitch but don't know how to support. To solve this problem, I would work on vocal warm-up at least 15-30 minutes to teach them how to support. Your choir sounds good but you need better support and tone quality.

Hmm. Well, the sopranos could be a bit more round, and the altos could sound more like they're singing rather than talking - that's a common issue though. And the boys need to sing a BIT louder. =)
