  • Great song. I love living in Plymouth and I work at a country club. Lol.

  • needs a video like new hamshire state of mind, other then that love it! oh and mention southie more

  • no mention of bar pizza. just the mention of a slice. It's the signature of the south shore

  • Should have mentioned Braintree more! I'll always remember livin in the tree! Lol

  • I did enjoy many of the references.

  • whitman!!!! and NDA!

  • kind of cool, but hardly any of those famous people are from the South Shore Casey Affleck (Falmouth and Newton), Conan (Brookline) Maura Tierney did go to Notre Dame, but she is from Hyde Park, Dane Cook is from Cambridge and Arlington; Jay Leno is from Andover, Matt Damon is from Cambridge, Dr. Suess is from Springfield - Ben Franklin? Seriously? He grew up in Boston and went to Boston Latin.

  • @Jamdor78 I know...we tried to get around that by prefacing that verse with "throughout Massachusetts...some live far and some live near." :)

  • @jkgovoni @Jamdor78 Oh, I missed that - let's see. You mentioned NKOTB , but how about Steve Carell who lives in Marshfield, Kate Bosworth is from Cohasset, Hal Holbrook grew up in Weymouth, Bobby Farrelly (The Farrely Brothers) live in Marshfield, Chris Cooper (Many A list movies) lives in Kingston, John L. Sullivan (bare knuckle brawler) lived in Abington, Ruth Gordon (Quincy), John Adams, John Quincy Adams, John Hancock. Any relation to Dennis Govoni the local actor?

  • @Jamdor78 Hmm, maybe a verse re-write is in order! :) Thanks for the info. No relation to Dennis that I know of...

  • @Jamdor78 Whoops, I take it back...Dennis just might be my father-in-law's cousin!

  • Whitman woo!

  • man, my hometown hingham just got a one liner? DAMN. i miss the south shore like crazy, and i'm in LA. nothin' like the south shore.

  • Great job!!! Plymouth Pebble. Building #19. Slice of 'Gino's. The first Dunkie's. The Toll House. "The greatness of this area's enough to bring you to your knees." Good times, good times.

  • they are say that they didnt know that there were any towns west of brockton not that they are part of the south shore

  • I wouldn't exactly call towns west of Brockton the south shore.. that would be more Brockton area in itself anyway... towns like Easton, Mansfield, Norton

  • ive never heard of any towns west of brockton

  • Great job. I miss home -- Cohasset.

  • I just wet my pants at work! Thanks!

  • Papa Gino's...Massasoit...Deluxe-bury...Whitman...Toll House...a far cry from Virginia Beach where I am now!

  • Nice. Miss home big time now. Pissa, dude. Wicked pissa.

  • Nice. Miss home.

  • I love this! And you mention Whitman, even in the southshore not many people know that place.

  • Made me miss my hometown, Abington! Great job, guys!!
