  • what about paintball?

  • try Jamie Sadlowski!

  • Golf is lame...Badminton for the win!

  • badminton!! try Lee Chong Wei!!

  • They should make him shoot a happy Gilmore shot

  • Comment removed

  • But nobody is on the receiving end of a golf ball... Golf is 50% lame

  • @JSZstudios I thought receiving was gay.

  • They try to make it look all dramatic when the glass shatters. It's a fucking ball hitting a glass window thing, of course it's going to shatter, at any speed!!

  • He should've used a hockey stick and gone all Happy Gilmore on their asses

  • his bag is all drivers

  • sadlowski: 220mph, duh WINNING

  • 2:28 perfect position

  • and the best part is, hes canadian

  • For me the fastest balls in the sport is Usain Bolt's balls.

  • i do not want to a shot like the to my nuts

  • sadlowski could break two panes no problem

  • Mike Dobbin hold the world record for longest drive with a 557 yard drive

  • it´s hilarious

they took the guy known for the hardest hit.

but they took just an average for pelota

  • for real that is the most jacked golf player I have ever seen.

  • uh, at this point i think my dad can hit a ball faster than tiger

  • wait.... why not scream and make the swing 25% more powerfull? hmm?

  • They do the math of the best golf swing vs just some avg jai alai player. I am sure there is some crazy jai alai player in Spain that is better than everyone else @ jai alai. And just like this long range golfer, said jai alai dudes' serve is above avg. blah blah blah experiment = fail.

  • get jamie he cracks 3....

  • @taumelgolfer get chuck he cracks infinite ...

  • @heastguschheast YEA!^^^^

  • "the energy travels from his feet"

    Uh, what?

  • I want to see him hit a full sand wedge...lol

  • Oh yeah, the glass will DEFINITELY reduce the ball speed by exactly 50%. 'Science' my arse.

  • @AlexOseph

ok... but that part isnt even essential to the experiment.... they measured the speed with the radar gun

    fuck nugget

  • @AlexOseph Using the power of reason, If it takes at least 100 mph to break one piece of glass and it goes through but does not break the other piece, how fast is it moving after the first piece? Thats right not a hundred mph. Maybe its not exactly 50% but it would probably close. So if at 200+ mph it goes through the first plate and then breaks through the second, it has to be traveling at least 100 mph when it hits the second. Use your organ called a brain before commenting.

  • @AlexOseph That's done for dramatic effect, they used the radar gun for the actual reading.

  • @AlexOseph

LMAO, a retarded monkey like you judging science. Hilarious. Yeah, I'm sure you're a scientist yourself, right? So, what are you credentials? A PhD in molecular biology? A physics professor? No. You're a 15 year old shit stain in front of a computer. That's all you are, and you know I'm right. Fuck wad :D

  • @AlexOseph well they still had the spedometer and the speed gun

  • @AlexOseph It makes sense that it will reduce the speed you piece of shit. Try punching through something. The force of hitting it will slow down your punch!

  • @AlexOseph THe glass wasnt used to measure the speed. They are using a radar for that. The glass is for a dramatic effect. They could bore the audience by going into the exact science but its likely they simplified it so that it was true at a basic level

  • why didn't they tell you the final speed? cheaters...liars,deceivers

  • @DEUTSCHLANDHEINZ they did tell the final speed, the ball flyed with 204mp/h

  • It's amazing that he can hit the ball 200mph. But it is not PGA legal so that's where I have to give the edge to Jai Alai because they use regulation pelota and cesta to reach 188+ mph. I have been to a few at Dania Beach, FL and were clocked at least 170 . It is fun to watch but I know the game is rigged so as to mix up the odds, otherwise the faves would always be 1:9

  • @jimmyg869

What is "it" and how is "it" not PGA legal?

  • Steroids in golf too? Pathetic?

  • @TubesteakNikka Jason Zuback

  • This is far from scientific. Somehow I find it hard to believe that the tempered glass breaks at exactly 100 m/h and that it reduces the speed of the ball at exactly 50 percent. The real numbers are probably not so "pretty". Also the breaking speed is probably determent by the ball (not 100m/h for all balls), and the percentage of speed drop is not same for different speeds.

  • @gevayoav They had a radar gun...

  • chicchacchula. The pelota is 150mph+ leaving the xistera, it isn't even approaching that speed for a catch. You want dangerous? Try cricket, same speed as a baseball pitcher, but he can legitimately aim to hit you, and the ball is rock hard.

  • pay attention to him hitting the tee the tee they show on the pad is different from the one they show up close he is not hitting off a wooden tee the tee is plastic its two different shots shot in different places

  • these guys need to get their facts straight. out of the 61 million people that play golf Happy Gilmore can hit the ball the furthest.

  • i guess nobody told them that jai alai gets to 188 mph averagely and could probably get more. although i think its a bit wierd how first it was 185, then 187, then 204?!? did he take roids on his lunchbreak or something!?

  • Dick.

  • Jason + Happy Gilmore drive + a loud scream = More Guinness World Record Fact Checking.

  • Jai-alai is still the fastest ball game. Golfers hit a stationary ball. Then they don't see the ball again until it has stopped! Jai-alai players have that rock hard ball coming at them and they have to catch it! Baseball players have to hit 100mph pitches, but the ball is not nearly as dangerous and the speed not as high. Tennis players have to return 150mph serves, but the ball is soft. Jai-alai players routinely have to catch rock-hard balls moving 150+mph AND return the ball in one motion.

  • ya but no one cares about that shit, the fastest ball game is called war, try dodging bullets.

  • i have the fastest balls

  • This show cares more about proving america is better than anything

  • @glennboydig Zuback is Canadian

  • @glennboydig America needs that right now.

  • i like the video now you should do the same investigation with the hardest jai alai player.

  • Why didn't they just test if a jai alai ball can really travel 188 mph? If anything, I'd like to know if that holds any truth.

  • It does, google it.

  • FASTEST projectile in sport is the BADMINTON shuttlecock at 206 mph. which is way more impressive considering its made of feather and cork.

  • Actually it's the golf ball because NYle pruitt and Jaimie sadlowski have a swing of 150mph and ball of 2

  • 216

  • @Krog1337

    Its not a ball.

  • this man is basicly a shaved gorilla

  • a dragon with skin

  • This is very impressive. He is an animal!

  • lol, the close up shot they kept showing isn't even from the test. the close up is with a wood tee. in their test they used a rubber tee. haha

  • nice- good call

  • Thanks man. This show takes a lot of liberties. They're more concerned with providing the viewers with entertainment than accurately evaluating and displaying the results.

  • yea thats because with a regular tee you can hit the ball cleaner

  • these guys use like a XXXXX flex shaft

  • monster!!!

  • They told us the exact speed of the first two, so why did they estimate the third? Maybe because it was less than 200 due to the glass being weakened from the first two attempts?

  • If you listen all the way to the end, the third attempt was 204 mph.

  • Wow, that's ridiculous that I never saw that! Thanks for pointing it out.

  • cuz on the 3rd time the 2nd glass got weaker and it got cracks on it...u can see it when they video tapes it from the back of it

  • Tempered glass do not crack or get weaker. Tempered glass either is intact, or shatters. Ask an architect.

  • Breaking panes of glass, they are measuring force, not speed. Using panes of glass is wildly innacurate for speed. Sure, it can be calibrated for the mass of a golf ball, but there are too many other variables. Honestly, they should check the badminton shuttle cock. As it is extremely light in weight, it reputedly leaves the racquet of professional players at up to 200 mph. However, it'll never break a single pane of glass.

  • lame analysis

  • there was a radar gun. the glass wasn't used for measuring speed.

  • but they did have a radar gun

  • I cant belive he uses pinnicles. I personally think the top flight pro dist give most distance althou i think they are crappy balls. i just never really thought of pinnicles as the farthest.

  • i DROVE 414 THE OTHER DAY AND AM COMPETING NEXT YEAR.

  • whoa 51000 veiws dead on haha

  • is that a ust proforce shaft?

  • now lets see him make a putt

  • He is still a +1 handicap i mean ya hes not amazing at the other part of the game but he is pretty damn good still

  • you should see the shaft type he uses...XXXXXS lol

  • I bet he pumped in some heavy juice prior to this. He was raging!

  • he reminds me of myself when he drives the ball

  • Call me crazy, but I think Jason LOSES some potential speed with how upright his swing plane is. But, part of that may be because of his height.

Some of the taller guys have a flatter swing plane (which is correct for a driver) and are able to achieve BIG TIME clubhead speed with seemingly less effort than Jason.

  • @afisch34

    He's only 5'9".

    Same height as me.

And he weighs about the same as me but i'm fat.

  • that was pretty sweet i have to admit!

  • at 1:56 WTF?? steroids?

  • no man, you should see his training routine in the M&F magazine.

  • yOU THINK BEING VASCULAR MEANS UR ON THE JUICE?

  • idk

  • 1:56.....he looks pretty strong lol

  • zuback is a fucking beast

  • zuback is a beast!!!

  • Baseball is a childrens version of cricket. Whatever happens in cricket is 10 times harder than baseball.

  • I with yah on that ! hahah

  • Okay, since you clowns won't pay attention for more than a second or two... Fastest baseball off a bat is 127MPH; Fastest baseball pitch (not from this video) about 107MPH; Fastest Jai Alai Ball is 188MPH; Fastest tennis serve is 153MPH; TIGER WOODS Golf Drive (for comparison against the world's longest hitters)180MPH; Recent Remax Longdrive Ball speeds off a driver as clocked by radar guns 202+MPH. Keep in mind these guys hit it over 400 yards consistently on the course. PGA has 1 player/year

  • damn hi lie is bad ass

  • LOL 1 PANE OF GLASS!!!

  • New World record for drives is now 551 yards by Mike Dobbyn. That means we may need to get him on the show and see his ball speed.

  • ooo and btw yes there r 2 different vids from the slow motion and regular and most likely if one is fake is the slow one....but the form is the same and wen he hit it in the regular motion one he broke the glass so who cares if the slomo is fake or not

  • that is soo syupid they dont account for all variables.....with the highball or watever the fuck it was they are slinging it and they didnt clock a baseball wen hit(usually faster then the pitch) and if they arent counting a hit baseball why count a hit golf ball....and yes they speed of the baseball comes from how fast the pitch is but if they count 1 particular "hit" object why not all

  • Baseball was 127. Watch the video again and pay attention.

  • dude that was off wat a 90 mph fastball the fastest pitch was like 125 i think using that combined with the swing of the bat should yield a much faster ball learn physics douche

  • the fastest pitch is like 102 or 103 NOT 125. get yer fact straight douche

  • Randy Johnson has slung a few upwards of 107 mph

  • ur a total douche thats the fastest in a game in the mlb not the fastest pitch ever

  • ur a total douche thats the fastest in a game in the mlb not the fastest pitch ever

  • im pretty sure they said the fastest major league hit was recorded at 127 m.p.h..

  • thx 4 not bein a douche lik the rest of them wat fucks

  • Wether or not he hit it off a rubber tee doesn't really matter. Its a tee.

  • look at his surroundings sherlock holmes its not even the same room obviously it wasnt there intention

  • On the mat he was hitting the ball off it was a rubber tee. In the slow motion it is a wooden tee. Fake?

  • Wow! That dude can hit the shit outta some golf balls! I wouldn't wanna be in his way if you know what I mean lol

  • shit!

  • this is insane

  • yea i saw this on tv. it was crazy i think its pretty kool and i dont even like science but this is kool b/c it involves sports!@!!

  • holy crap

  • DON'T MISS IT!

    RE/MAX World Long Drive Championship

December, 25th 2007 @ 1:00PM EST on ESPN in HD!

  • No surprise here. Jason is a true Champion! Someof the best golfers of all time celebrate Jason as the most effecient swing of all time!

  • You are right. What you don't realize (maybe you do, but the general public doesn't) is that Jason is only 5'8" or something. Typically the guys on the LDA circuit are BIG guys...6'2", 6'4", 6'6"...physics is on their side. Jason, on the other hand, utilizes flexibility and torque to not only equal, but exceed the clubhead and ball speed the big guys get. To the tune of 5 Remax Championships....way more than anyone else.

    Wade

  • At least 100 guys that go over 200 no problem? Where did you get that stat? I'd say 75% of them are in the 190-200 range but not all over 200!

  • There are at least 100 guys that go over 200 mph - no problem, they can be found at the REMAX WLDC in Mesquite, NV. I'd say that most tour pros are fairly good at the game of golf, and there are about 3 or 4 that get it over 180 mph. Tiger is about 185 mph.

  • Try and beat the 204 MPH that Jason posted and see how you do. There are very few people on this planet that can get it even close to 200 MPH.

  • I never said that revving it up to 180 was easy, hence the disclaimer "assuming you're fairly good at the game of golf." Playing the modern game requires a bit more oomph with the driver now, and what I've seen with junior golfers is making 180 MPH of ballspeed seem VERY regular now. Besides, no one said that the 180 MPH of ballspeed would be going in the direction that you want...

  • Assuming you're fairly good at the game of golf, 180 mph of ballspeed is not that hard too achieve. Now, if it was CLUBHEAD speed, that would be another story...
