  • I miss home movies lol

  • What a classic game, thanks for sharing with us. :) It sure has a lot of gameplay for a 1941 game.

    Some questions:

1: I don't suppose you've come across the game "Bumper" by Bally in 1936? It was revolutionary because it was the first game to use bumpers.

2: I take it the score becomes void when the time runs out, just like when the game's tilted?

  • Although we have not played Bumper yet, we are quite familiar with it. There is one hanging as a wall decoration at the Spring Lake Arcade.

Yes, running out of time voids your score as the whole game turns off including your score.

  • Oh yes, I remember seeing this video earlier. It's so strange hearing the timers. LOL It was awesome that you were able to light up that many bumpers. I could never be that lucky if the camera is rolling. LOL

  • I am really enjoying your videos on these classic pinball games. My dad told me how he used to play pinball and made enough money to pay for him, my mom (they were dating in the mid 40's) and her friend to go to the movies. I never knew what kind of pinball you could win money playing, but he had to be playing games much like this one. Thanks for the blast from the past.

  • Great vid and great job on the restoration. That's the great hook earlier (pre-80s) pinballs have - you shot one ball and got 6 bumpers. 4 balls later, nothing. But if you had just tried, a little, you would have (might have!) gotten that last bumper. Great pinballs always get you ALMOST to the end of the sequence almost every game, and you JUST KNOW you could have made it if you'd just tried a little bit harder.

  • How much it cost?

  • Do you know if they take the games from the museum and put them in the Pacific Pinball Expo? I'm going to be attending the expo and was really hoping to get to play this machine!

  • i don't know much i just know that my mother gave me our really pinball Machine for free and it's a wild fyre or something anyway it needs some fixing on the wires other wise it would work and the paint is still good on the outside accept for the corners and the handle may be rusted which i know i can fix easy i think.. but the inside wording and stuff that says what it is and stuff is faded really bad how do i fix that? and how much do you think it would it be wroth once fixed?

  • our really old pinball machine*

  • I do belive nudging was allowed/required for these games. It'd be the only way to get that 7 bumper

  • Nudging is allowed but you'll have to flip the the whole machine over to hit the 7 bumper.

  • Beautiful job. "Just" relays and switch stacks. I love it!

  • I *love* your pinball video's. You guys are really giving these old pins the attention they deserve.

I have a 1940 Genco Big League myself which doesn't work at the moment. When I get it working though, I'll make a Youtube video of that as well.

  • Do you ever sell any of your machines?

  • Awesomus to the Maximus

  • I'm so proud!

    Mom
