Wow this is ridiculous. The woman in the video is so ignorant. Yes you have opportunity to travel in the military. But this isn't a vacation. If you wanted to go to Hawaii or Okinawa, take a vacation. You can't expect to go travel to exotic vacation destinations when joining the military. You elist in order to serve your country. Not for a free vacation.The recruiters job is to get you to enlist. They provide you with opportunities. It is your job to earn those opportunities.

@alison4568 Did you even watch the video? She clearly says through the whole video that recruiters lie. She said "you're traveling to the sandbox. You're going to Iraq, that's where you're going. How many people get lucky enough to get based in Hawaii or Okinawa? Most people get stuck in North Carolina like we did." Where in the world did she say otherwise? I don't understand why people comment without watching the whole video.

@DontreylUSMC The Marine Corps is not racist. There may be some racist individuals in the Marine Corps but that can happen in any job field. I have a video entitled "My Experience as an Active Duty Marine" check it out on my channel.

lol this video is great recruiters have to meet a requirement in getting civilians in just so they can let the chain of command know theyre doing theyre job and not sitting in there ass. reguardless if theyre liars or not the marine corps doesnt want you to join this brotherhood of ours. they want you to put the 100% effort perty much theyre job is to get you in and for the most part you may still switch your MOS in the future if you reenlist.
