The QUESTION here is How many returned home after the conquest of CCCP. I have heard around 10.000 went to fight in eastern front and by Croatian historians 500 survived but were later put in prisons or killed by Yugoslavian partizans.

In Sydney i know there alot of serbs in a suburb called liverpool. Usually different suburbs have different foreign majorities and minorities. eg indians, italians, greeks etc etc

yes, i was born 1 after the war started. Some of family are nationalists as well. But for me. When im around Serbs i am serb, when i am around croats, im croat. The things i find stupid is that. there is no point of fighting eachother. Second that Serbs,Croats,Bosnians and Montenegrians are bassically the same people who speak a common language. next is slovenians, macedonians, and bulgarians. i dont think croatia even had the chance to create an empire unlike Serbia. But even croats had there plan for Greater Croatia. This includes modern BIH and srem in vojvodina (Part of serbia) + croatia. NDH consisted what i just said and obviulsy alot serbs lived in those areas, am i wrong? and roughly 700000 killed from Ustase and the 2/3s were converted to catholics or deported.

No they werent retarted. at the time Ustase was not popular in croatia. It was the Croatian Peasantry Party leaded by Vlatko Macek. Ante was placed the head of croatia by Hitler and Axis instead of Macek. Y because Macek refused to eb in the poisition. A we all know. Ante was a fascist and hated Serbs, and u know the story. I am pro Serbian though because Serbia (until the 90s) has always been a good ally of the UK, and (no offence meant to you) Croatia has always been very anti British. I think also it was a disgrace that Kosovo was taken from Serbia too.
I can understand though how hard it must have been for you. It would be like England fighting Scotland in the UK.

There is no Serbian version. there is the obvius one.. Croats are slavs, there are part of the southern slav group, they are in language(almost same), in culture to bosnia, serbia, and montengro. Our people come from modern poland down to the balkans obvoiusly they were just tribes and expanded. and the geographical postions influence musch of us today. Overall were preety much the same people who have different influences from others, example bosnia with turkey croatia with italy and austria

ur wrong Tomislav II was offically the leader in power, Ante was the prime minister, which had the real power. Vlatko Macek was first chosen, but as i said he refused and ante was left. Besides The Ustase was common in Croatia, it was Vlatko Macek's party the peasant party was more popular. Well croatia was fasicts and both communist, but fasists were in power in europe, obviulsy hitler. I dont think serbia, serbia had major problems with germany. and germany long secured its borders to invade russia, so, croatia should not have any enemy to attack them. Problem is that communism has its bad leaders. thus not perfect. but the way it is written seems so much to "bueatiful" i know my parents say during communist times there was no crime, now look.
