  • I can't imagine my mother driving one of these - she puts enough scratches and dents in the family Daewoo as it is...

  • so being that its GM, does it have a lot of plastic in the interior?

  • shes married...damn...

  • 12v92?

  • @markallen511 the numbers mean it's a v-12 with 92 cubic inches displacement per cylinder

  • it can carry 350 tons, or 2 Rosie O'Donnells

  • woow

  • too bad it aint around anymore

  • @icewatercube they don't need to change it cuz it's impossible to get it flat lol

  • i think the clutch pedal would look normal O_o if it had one "/

  • imagine the size of the clutch pedal !!!!

  • @1AussieAvenger1 Just imagine the diameter of the clutch :-P

  • Made by GM eh? I would hate to be the technician to fix the cracked head on that thing... :P BTW, whats the fuel consumption like? 20 Inches to the gallon?

  • LMAO does it have a rear view mirror for her makeup

  • @CoyoteInterceptor No, But it does have a sunvisor, with a flip up lighted vanity.

  • perfect for going downtown for some snacks xD

  • @TransAmDrifter I can just imagine pulling up to the local fish shop in that, parking it, climbing out, going in and buying my weekly feed of chips, then climbing back in and driving off while eating my chips.

  • imagine putting that engine on a civic hatch yooo

  • pop it's tryes and you will be sent back

  • 3300hp? I bet it has like 10,000 foot lbs.

  • 3,300 horsepower Bugatti u have been beaten lmao

  • you hear that?? General Motors baby!

  • @JaredProject Government Motors probably won't ever be strong enough to produce equipment like this again. Government does not produce, it consumes.

  • @specialks1953 government motors? never heard of that

  • @JaredProject - It's pretty obvious, since ocrappa influenced the free market/not, takeover of General Motors causing it to become government Motors.

  • @specialks1953 oh well, i dont really pay attention to all that, all i know is im a Chevy guy, and when I heard General Motors i guess i got a little excited

  • @JaredProject I have always been a Chevy guy but government always screws up everything they touch. Have a good one ! ! !

  • Is this girl power?

  • Huh never seen one. I guess cause its made by GM. Everyone knows the stuff they make is always junk. Like a piece of sh*t rock. lol.

  • chuck noris's shopping car

  • if i was a basket ball player id buy one of these and put some even bigger rims on it

  • В ЖОПУ

  • imagine the cops chasing you in that ha ha roadblocks would be useless

  • @B789c true but you'd also be going very slowly, which makes it easy for them to pull open the door and chuck you out while the truck rolls on its merry way over a few more squad cars down the road :D

  • good for when youre in rush-hour

  • I'll drive while shes giving me head

  • ah a video with a com from monitor from a youtube video?

  • Dats one big mother farker!!!!

  • i want to see a burnout with that thing.

  • its like a building on wheels

  • lol this is a Mexicans Dream pick up truck!

(I am mexican just in case you start hateing) lol

I mean imagine how many beers can fit back there hahaha

  • @BOOTZbootz it would be like carrying possibly ten or twenty times the amount of Coors you see in 'Smokey and the Bandit' in this case you're doing a swansang run in a big Terex - at full speed and with no traffic it would take little over a month to get to Georgia from Texarkana.

  • CO-CO-CO-COMBO BREAKER! not stfu and comment on the vid instead of grammer... or get a facebook and talk on there but dont talk about grammer and other shit that dosent have to do with the video............... >:(

  • Ta pani prowadziła jakiś mały samochód a oni to zmontowali...

  • i doesn t look like it can pay itself back...

  • Hey, MORONS! Learn how to connect electronics, and stop putting video cameras in front of TV's to record!

Pay attention people, because I know this will be confusing for you:

From the video source "OUT" connections: Yellow cable to yellow port, Red to red port, & White to white port.

At the other end of the cable, connect to the recording devices IN ports: Yellow to yellow, red to red, white to white!

Since that undoubtedly hurt that little pea-nut between your ears, go take a nap & rest.

  • @nachtkriechen peanut is not hiphonated...

  • @looloopklop hyphenated is not spelled hiphonated

  • @77mare369777 WOW, you can spell hyphenated but not peanut? I wish i was born out of wedlock to a family that doenn't care about me.

  • @looloopklop peanut? like the one shoved up your ass? oh and DOESN"T not doenn't

  • @77mare369777 a peanut up my ass is better than a big fat dick shoved up yours.

  • Well HELLO there, Ms. Truckdriver!

  • Are these still around today??

  • @nvidiafan224 Yes they are still around. My son drives one in Alberta, Canada.

  • @lauriej2 not the titan, only one 33-19 was built, and its now on display in sparwood. terex still makes other rock trucks though, i think.

  • @terroriticus They do, but the sheer size of them makes them VERY impractical for a lot of mines. I've worked as a longhaul truck driver, and much of my work involves me delivering parts to minesites. Terex mate dump trucks similar in size to the CAT 793, but CATs are the only ones that use direct drive engines; everyone else uses the system on diesel electric locomotives; a generator produces current to run 4 electric wheel motors, one for each wheel. Imagine the road to carve for this thing!

  • @Mechknight73 this wasn't a discussion about diesel electric drivetrains. it was about the fact that the titan was no longer in production and has become a tourist attraction. then again the trucks terex produces now aren't very big. the largest currently in production is only 100 ton. cats smallest (777) is 100 ton. so really, the terex is too small to be practical. now cats biggest (979f) is pretty fucking big. 400 ton. this would be more efficient for mining.

  • So easy a women can drive it lol Gotta love the 70's

  • Hey, I feel like an ANT.

  • did these use electric assist in that time? Current mining dump trucks have an energy reclamation system and have a large battery bank. On the way down an open mine the battery charges as the truck "brakes" using the motor/generator. Once it reaches the bottom, it loads up with earth and then makes its way up using electrically assisted diesel which saves a lot of diesel.

Diesel freight trains use a similar system.

  • i could move more dirt with a deere 450D and 3 trucks in a days time.

  • The CAT 797F and the Liebherr T282B far surpass the Terex Titan 1 in payload capacity, tire size, and horsepower. Anyway, much larger trucks designed to haul over 1000 tonnes will be built in the near future which will make this Titan, the CAT 797F, and the Liebherr T282B all look SMALL. The new trucks will sport 10,000+kW (13,400+HP) diesel-electric engines, ten 84/80R-86 160PR radial tires, and a host of performance and safety features. The larger trucks will hail around mid-2012.

  • Ha Ha, short runs hey. You're a funny guy. Man up nancy boy. You have'nt much experience in the mining industry obviously. Step out into the real world brother and travel around a bit.

  • It Drives a Woman!! :-O

PS: i would like to say, MANOLYA I LOVE YOU BABY!!!

  • It drives a woman :-O!!!!!!!

  • they showed a women because they were sexest when they made this and showed that its so easy to drive, a women can do it

  • Actually, women are the preferred drivers both for the mining trucks in particular and trucks in general, They keep the vehicles clean and damage-free. Several insurance companies will offer large bonuses for female truckdrivers, and some companies will only hire female drivers as they cant afford the damages their male counterparts keep racking up.

  • They may think that, but where I work they are just another truckie and do just as much damage, and the cab is no cleaner than anyone elses. It doesn't matter, male or female you either get it or you don't.

  • @KulakxFilms Women do drive these trucks. I was told that some of the companies prefer to hire women because they are more careful. They don't try to show off to other guys which means less accidents.

  • @lauriej2 your saying that all male terex titan 1 drivers try to show off driving? those things are too expensive and boring to drive too do that

  • @KulakxFilms . I agree. I'm sure most people who are hired to drive these trucks, (male or female), are careful drivers. Otherwise they get fired. :-)

  • @lauriej2 Or blow up. :D

  • @lauriej2 That's true of most Australian mines. If you're a mine manager whom wants to train their own, who would you hire? A 20 year old full of testosterone and ego, or a 20 year old woman whom wants to prove to herself that she can do this? Many of them report that women tend to be nicer to their $9 million dump truck than some experienced operators.

  • Hate to lose the power steering in that sucker.

  • @12GunSlinger interesting thing is. if the power steering did go out theyd retire the truck since parts were so expensive

  • @12GunSlinger thats what i was thinking

  • O.o wouldnt it suck to get ur feet ran over by that? OMG THAT WOULD HURT... ud have 0.3546 feet left

  • @rusho2nd Never mind how much damage they can do to your feet; I used to work in th transport industry, and delivered a lot of stuff to minesites. one mine had the remains of a Toyota Landcruiser wagon parked outside the reception office. It had been run over by a dump truck. The banner in front of it implored people to pay attention to your safety, and that of people around them

  • A chick is driving it?? Run for your lives!!!

  • @thekth proverbial woman driver...

  • A diesel-electric engine with up to 11,000+ horsepower equipped with superturbochargers and aftercooling. There will also be electric traction motors powering all wheels as well as center-, duplex-rear- and front-locking differentials to enhance traction.

  • Run 24/7 hey?, so when did they change operators, do fuel ups, change engine oil,eng oil filters, air filters, hydraulic filters, wheel motor and generator brushes?. Why is the tray so wide and the sides so low in comparison to terex, komatsu and caterpillar. And as far as youre sd40's, their pieces of crap. head gaskets, injectors, valve bridges and power assemblies all the time. I know, i work on them every day of the week. GE are a great engine.

  • thats monster!

  • Yes, for a time, this was the world's largest truck. But in the near future, even larger haul trucks will be bult which will make the Terex Titan, Caterpillar 797, and other giant trucks look 'average'. These trucks will boast 8000+HP diesel-electric engines with 6x6 propulsion systems to power all of their 10 wheels (eight will be on their duplex rear axles). Those 10 wheels will have rims of 70 or more inches in diameter and will be fitted with tires of at least 17 FEET in diameter.

  • They'd have no real use. We've damn near mined the earth bare. Any deeper and the trucks will have to get smaller and a little longer.

Large trucks such as the 797 and the Terex Titan are a dying breed.

  • I must update my previous comment. The larger trucks planned in the future will feature engines of 8000-11,000+HP, all-wheel-drive, and can carry 1000+metric tons. They will have 10 wheels of 80+inches in diameter fitted with tires of 17+ffet in diameter. They will loosely resemble 'Terex Titans on steroids' and will be at least 50% wider, 50% taller, and 50% longer than the Terex Titan 1 shown here.

  • @glenn3rd2004 I read at least 100 comments from you on YouTube and Flickr concerning a variety of subjects and found all your comments utterly pointless. Please do your research before making any more comments on YouTube and Flickr in the future.

  • The mine that this truck went to was in southern California. A place called Eagle Mtn. It is halfway in between Indio, and Blythe Ca. on Interstate 10. The mine was an Iron ore mine owned by Kaiser Steel Corp. I have pics of my pickup parked next to it. This truck was very big for its time and it also had big problems.

  • @tomcat7359 What kind of problems?

  • awesome.. thanks for posting!

I think the women are driving because the cab is big enough to fit an ironing board, washing machine and sink in there.

  • ROFL

    true

  • long haul. :)

  • I am sorry to say, but in todays world, you don't hear much about the new types of construction or mining technology, just hear foreclosure and layoffs or shut downs, sad to see it all go down the crapper.

  • Impresionante!!!

  • It showcased all the tecnology that GM USA had at its desposal in the 70s. When they actually owned all their divisions like EMD,Terex, Detroit Diesel,Allison,Delco Remy, all being sold over time. A very sad waste as far as Im concerned for the briliant engineers who worked their ,maybe GM would be in a far stronger place if they were held on to as it couldnt be any worse to the crap they are in at the moment

  • get the fuck out of there women at wheel

  • Most mining trucks are driven by women.

  • fail

  • its a tonka truck

  • I think its absolutely incredable and irisponcible they let a woman drive it!

  • Shame on you for posting this comment!

You should have posted the following, "I think it's absolutely incredible and irresponsible they let a woman drive it!"

There. That's better isn't it? Ha! Ha! Just kidding.

  • Egpg2000 u dumb fuck it only carry 350 tons not 550 tons now who's the dip shit haha u r

  • Egpg2000 u dumb fuck listen to the video it only carry 350 tons

  • This Terex 33-19 is currently sitting in Sparwood,B.C. Canada.Right above Eureka,Montana

  • sorry but you sound ridiculous and uneducated. Do you realize the savings of these machines? you act like 350 tons is petty. I don't understand you at all. These machines have a purpose and are built to specs for certain reasons. This just wasn't buitl for shits n giggles

  • Seems a bit pointless to me, it weighs 250tonnes but can only carry 350tonnes, after you take into account the cost of buying it, maintaining it and how much it costs to run you'd probably be better off having a smaller one and just make a few more trips??!!!

  • You know little about how mines run and need large machines to achieve economies of scale. A few large machines are cheaper to run than many small ones that would be needed to do the same work. Then there's the expense of the operators to drive them, which are in short supply, so demand a premium wage.

  • how much tonnen wiegt der

  • Funny how they didn't show her stopping to ask for directions...

  • @wildturkey1960, unreal comment lmfao

  • ....yeah...like my girlfriend...

    she drive also big trucks!!!

  • только америкосы садят за такую технику баб

  • why is a woman driving?

  • Because she is hot or was 30 years ago

  • because its hot

  • you know, because sex appeal is key in the dump truck market

  • I'm sure it was to illustrate - particularly in a less equality-driven era - that "it's so easy to drive even a woman can drive it"

  • Probably to show its easy to drive,as long as she doesnt have to reverse park it,or fit it through a gap 3 times wider than the truck.

  • Actually you dumb fuck, it is mostly women who drive these vehicles. No fucking ego to get in the way. Couldn't you see your' dumb ass driving it, trying to see how fast it could run? Retard.

  • GM sure knew how to throw away money..They deserve what they get.

  • lol this was built in the city that i live in

  • Its bigger than my house. Rare footage tho!

  • it wouldn't fit

  • Discovery rox ;p

  • 3300 hp O.o

  • i took this monster to the tv becose my garage was to small

  • I'd love to try parallel parking that thing.

  • sure this aint the start of a 70's porno? the chick is pouty....lol

  • i hate when people record there fuckin t.v. screens

  • That's fuckin' cool as hell! Where can I see this truck for real? Anybody know??? Field trip!!!!!!

  • Sparwood, British Columbia, Canada. I've got some pictures beside it.

  • why does it have such a narrow bed? is it so loaders can reach ? just curious,,

  • My pennis impresses me more!

  • Mine too. it looks like my penis with wheels on it.

  • lol ;)

  • but its trunk is pretty flat

  • I thought that... it's nothing but wheels

  • Its IDIOT Proof

    WOMEN CAN DRIVE IT!!!

  • for a few seconds..yeah..

  • yah ive seen that truck in person

its in sparwood for sure last time i checked

they even took the engine out but holy shit i could barely climb that beast

  • 33768776 You Have Dumbass Name And Need A life. biggest fuckin truck i ever seen

  • Yes pal.. This IS bigger than a 797. Better look again..

  • Yea, I have yet to see some woman come work side by side with me in the logging field. Nice to know the cunts have not infiltrated everything yet.

  • love the way they say'it's almost as easy to drive as an automobile' and then show a woman driving amen to sexist subliminal advertising

  • sexist? you mean realist

  • and a woman driving

  • OMG NEEEEED FOR MY NEIGHBOUR >:)

  • Nice! It will be my next city car

  • He, thats a pretty old video. The titan was decommissioned several years ago and is now on display beside the highway at Sparwood BC, Canada just a few miles from the open pit mine it serviced.

  • fuck large !!!!!

  • 797b are bigger and better

  • 797b are bigger hahahaha

  • What a pile of Shit.

  • i had sex with that truck one time

  • did it rip the cheese off ya dick?

  • not it whiped the butter out ma pussy

  • sick :->

  • One rolled by me. The tires were bigger than the van I was in.

  • like 13 gallons to the mile X(

  • yeah, but at least you don't need to make your way thru streets if you are low on gas, you can just demolish your way to the gas station xD

  • 1 highway

    0 city

  • 1/2MPG city 2 highway

  • This video is clipped by a documentary on the discovery channel about the biggest trucks. Go fuck to get some copyrights for hosting this you stinghead fuck!!!

  • what would they do if one of the tires went flat? whip out the worlds largest jack?

  • i ment to put thumbs up..lol....imagine..lol

  • and the world's biggest auto mechanic. You always need a mechanic when changing the tires to something the size of a double-storied mansion.

  • what country made this truck
