AAI2 isn't being sold in everywhere else right now because the 3DS just came out and they think that not much attention will be given to the normal DS now.

People bought the 3DS to play the 3D games released for the 3D portable console.

They would play DS games on their normal DS, or if it was their first DS, they wouldn't even buy DS games.

And I buy DS games and play them on my 3DS, because I want those specific games. The platform has nothing to do with it.

Business salesmen, especially from a global company like Nintendo, aren't gonna take into account one voice saying differently from the millions that are saying that this 3D thing is cool and that they will buy another DS to play the 3D games.

It's the way advertising goes.

Alot of casuals, the main supplier of money for nintendo, love every gimmick thrown at them.

They buy the Wii Fit and enjoy walking tightrope and teasing their father for eating one too many chocolates over the holidays. They buy Wiisports and its sequels to play enticing new takes on sports such as basketball and hockey. They buy the DSi because of it's camera program, and then throw it away for a DSi XL because bigger is better.

That is what matters in the long run.

@narutorox123456 Actually Capcom's official reason was something along the lines of "they probably wouldn't sell enough". The AA games never sell much because they're ridculously easy to illegally download onto an R4...

@yaragorm They are wrong though, because People were buying imports from the japanese games all the way to america and europe, which means that people would have buyed it. Also, all DS games are ridiculously easy to download onto an R4, because if No$GBA was able to emulate more than 3 quarters of DS games alone without No$Zoomer, an R4 can emulate many games they even HAVE released. Using an R4 is like the performance of No$Zoomer with No$GBA doubled. Tt's on a real DS which has more memory.

@CoolGriffy we could have made a translated version. But capcom thought of that so they put a block for all the letters...if we did try to translate it, it would only appear as XXXXXXXXXX
